I can surely tell you what an android high end tablet can do that ipad or surface cant...
Ipad cant use nfc, usb otg, miracast, independent file transfer, or file manager, lacks customization,...
Surface cant still use usb otg, does have limited customization
This tab can do ANYTHING, and all...

Look at that man.. LOOK. That 3 silly navigation software buttons at the bottom. You need to be an alien with 3 arms to use this tablet. Totally not user friendly.
And besides its getting boring. 4 Years stuck on the same design. And 3 buttons to navigate..

LOL thats inzane, more than Air 2 and much more than old Air 32GB that is endlessly much better. Sony is obvious going after the stupid people as usual, those who think that Android tablets can be used for anything AND that high specs matters. Double stupid.
Im not sorry for Android owners, their tablets do nothing but collect dust (since theres nothing to use them for) while iPads OTOH are used too much. That means, if you want a tablet but not really want to use a tablet, this one is great, and after you take it out of the store it has the same second hand value as the old iPad 2. Im trying to find a way to get rich from stupid peopleif they can buy android tablets theres so much other useless things we could make them buy, great opportunities burried here.

If this turn out to be the actual price when Sony start selling them. Then I just want to say: Sony, you're focusing on the wrong OS(∉559)! It's not a full blown Windows, and ever since WP8(8.1) tablet hit the market it is pointless for any of these Android/iPad tablets.

As a Sony fan i say this. The price is to high for that amount i can easly buy a surface pro 2 that beats android and ios combined .... 750 eur for a android tablet is to damn high . and they wonder why Sony mobile devision makes such a low profit . thats why ! Its an awesome tablet but still take a look at the competitors 😢😤

Sony needs to get their products available in more retail stores.
They would also need an M4 tablets for the 250$ to 400$.
8", 720p~1080p, Quad-core, 16Gb +Micro, Water-proof. 250$
10" (same shape as Z4 for cover case compatibility), 1080p, Quad-core, 16Gb/32Gb + Micro, Water-proof. 400$
Nobody needs ultra high end tablets, it's a very small portion of the market. Samsung tablets sells like crazy thanks to the small price and vast distribution. It's a fact.
Sony tablets are far superior quality, but not everyone wants to pay the extra dollar since the most usage they will do with the tablet will be to go on facebook and some youtube and you don't need very high end devices.
Having variety of prices will help Sony tremendously.
Gaming high end on tablet? Get a PS4 instead and remote play. At that price, you get both a PS4 and Vita.

So yes mobile IS too expensive, you can get a laptop or smart TV for that price,
but this tab in that mobule merit...is not expensive
