Rosanglura , 10 Mar 2015Guys one sure shot way i've found to solve the RAM leakage ... moreYou mean restart a day, not reset, right ? By the way, along with that you can use the one of the 'lazy swipe' feature to get a performance boost, it can clear up more RAM than the default Samsung's tweaked one. And, the restart is recommended for all the droid users, no matter what API or version of Android firmware is installed on your device.

Guys one sure shot way i've found to solve the RAM leakage problem is to reset the phone once a day (or whenever you find the usage crossing 2gb persistently). Then when you hit 'clear memory' it drops below 1.5gb.

It's a little time consuming but works.

i am facing few problems after i upgraded to lollipop: 1. phone is using RAM beyond 2 gigs.
                        2. Silent Mode is not working and 3. Missed call notification has disappeared from phone book icon. My advise is "Do Not Install Lollipop" until further updates

asbo, 08 Mar 2015I am on lollipop and it is much smoother than kitkat by far... moreThat clearly states that, you've unofficial ROM. And, people here are complaining about the official one, that have released nearly a week ago in India. Your ROM must be tweaked & refined properly or perhaps it is 5.0.1 version.

Clearly people talking about high ram usage must have some dodgy app ir dodnt upgrade from 4.4.4 to 5.0 properly i know quite a few people who have upgraded to 5.0 on the n9005 and have had no problems with battery, lag or ram everything works fine and fluidly, if you have stupid apps made by unknown development teams then that will explain your ram being so high mine rarely goes past 1.47gb and i use a lot of apps

AKHIL, 06 Mar 2015Yes, even i am facing this problem of proximity sensorEven I am facing this issue after upgrading it to Android 5.0
I also tries using the *#0# code to test the sensor, but no luck.
There is a method to calibrate the sensor using adb commands, but it requires root.
If anyone finds solution to this issue, please post here.

AnonD-289335, 08 Mar 2015Flash the firmware manually via Odin. But still if you wipe up your cache & perform a hard reset & then calibrate your battery, you can get rid of few problems.
