I hope Sony spend huge amount of money for advertisement, for them marketing means advertisement only, really in marketing after sales service is included, which non of Sony marketing team members seems to be knowing it.
Sony to sustain in business you should have repeated customers, for which you must have after sales service. 100% I will not buy any of the Sony product anymore.

Sonys aftersale service is very poor. they dont have stores that you can just walk in for a solution to a problem. compare to apple.

You don't get it do you? Have you seen many digital cameras with a tiny cam module? Nope.
In order to get good pictures, a camera module has to be a big one. No matter what sony is gonna do, a bigger camera module is always better than a smaller one.
And no sd card slot? No way I'm buying this device. htc here I come.

camera sucks! terrible focus, no OIS , the software is beyond bad my old galaxy s3 took better pics at 8 mega pixels the steadyshot crops the image and causes sharpness/aliasing artifacts when panning dont buy sony xperia z3 unless u dont mind the shit camera

Sorry but Z3 is too thin already, so no. I won't get Z4. Sony is calling and innovation the removal of card slot, and a slimmer device (meaning worse camera module).
Great job sony!

I own Z3 Compact , great phone , no complains except poor camera (Samsung S5's is way better) for 20mp

After reading this, I feel like what Sony is going to repackage the same exact phone and give it Lolipop + Bloat. All while Sony said "Lolipop will roll out very soon" "Lolipop will roll out progressively though Feburary". Now it is "We are releasing the same phone with software upgrades"
Sony is makes some of the best products on the market in quality and design. Remember that Jobs was ok with Sony VAIO's running OSX? But Sony has dropped the ball in marketing. And Sony is one of the few companies standing with brand recognition and trust. They are murdering it. They aren't supporting with the latest firmware. You can't buy their phones anywhere. You can't buy accessories in most stores.
Sony was a pioneer with the Walkman,the Camcorder,and game console(and CDs).
They make GREAT products with the Trintron,VAIO, and PlayStation....even BRAVIA to a lesser extent.
Now they are just are regular competitor in every market..
Poor marketing killed Sony. Occasionally I'll got to buy a product with my parents. They are of the age where Sony was a true household name. Sony meant quality even at a more premium price. They were fine paying more of a brand name and quality product. So are most of us still. I loved the VAIO brand, but Sony killed it. Sony gave their TV business to panel makers. I know there are still great engineers making great products at Sony. The smartphones are nice. Their lens are great. The Playstation is strong. But they might have killed the brand by now.
Sony has been committing Seppuku. Sony used to be what Apple was. You can overcharge for your products as long as they are still premium products and you market them well. Ten years ago, it wouldn't have surprised anyone to see Sony where Apple is today, bu they are not. They complete failure of their marketing and ability to look towards the future has left them removing their organs in front of us. Sony is trying to die with honor, but I am not sure there will be anything left to honor if they keep this up.

I like this... They are now focusing on their software side which is great, coz their hardware side was always great. Plus, don't forget the after sales service and advertisement...
