AnonD-357853, 06 Mar 2015The words Mediatek and flagship used in one centence makes ... moreYou know nothing Klimis

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2015Really? Have you tested the device / chipset or any other p... moreI do know better yes,
The MT 6795 runs 8 Cortex A53 cores and built on 28nm HPM which is ancient for a flagship chip in an age were Samsung is on Cortex A57 x4 in its octa core based on 14nm FinFet.
Even SD 810 is build on 22nm process.
Bottom line on chip? Extremely inneficient chip configuration to push a Quad HD screen.
Now we come to the GPU.
The Power VR 6200 is a a weaker model of the 6430 found in phones like IPhone 5S and Zenfone 2.
Now the 6430 can go up to about 153 GFLOPS while 6200 is half that at 76 GFLOPS.
Even 6430 was always meant for Full HD and never QHD and 6200 should never even be used on Full HD even worse on Quad HD.
Don't believe me? Check the MX4 review here in GSM arena it uses the same gpu and even they stated its down right terrible and that was just Full HD.
So it doesn't take a genius to say that this phone is gonna be a lagging disaster and a battery hog thats even worse than what we say with LG G3 last year.

Keep flooding with junk phones but no update for older devices like One(M8) and OneMax or Desire 816.
      Shame on you HTC!!!!!

The words Mediatek and flagship used in one centence makes zero sence. Mediatek will never be a company that brings out stuff that are on the level of current flagships of other semiconductor companies. Couple that with a QuadHD screen and you have the best disaster recipe.

Don't buy any other phone from HTC which doesn't have "M" in its name.Bought HTC One E8 which has same specs as the One M8 with the only difference being 13mp camera and polycarbonate build.Till now I haven't recieved a single update not even the Eye Experience Update. So keep calm and get the M9 :3

Why a recipe for disaster or lag? What other phones/devices have used this same componentry and failed?

They have seen samsung's tactic fail with a million models. Why are they doing the same?

Whatever pixel amount or whatever CPU I would never buy a phone with an IPS display with its background color. I highly advice anyone to go for a SUPER AMOLED display phone!

Have to see how this mediatek chip works out though...

Are they out of their mind? Quad HD on MT 6795 and PowerVr 6200 is a recipe for an epic lagging disaster of a phone....
