Srb, 07 Mar 2015Don't you know M7 was copy after iphone 5?? so plz shhh T... moreMany people have told me HTC One M7 was copied from iPhone 5, but when I asked "please specify the similarities of both phones. HTC One has a curved back, iPhone doesn't. HTC camera is in the middle, Apple is on the top left hand corner. So what are the similarities? And don't say it's similar cause it both uses aluminum." They've failed to give me an answer to that claim.

T... moreI can't tell if you're actually serious or just a troll. If you are serious you honestly have no idea what you're talking about. The Original One's design was based on the HTC One S, which IIRC was HTCs first aluminum unibody framed android phone. The iPhone 5 design is neither full aluminum nor is it unibody (which is likely why it didn't have antenna bands on the outside of the phone like the m7, m8 and iPhone 6)
You can go back and fourth all day long about who copied who but the truth is, it really doesn't matter. HTC and Apple have a 10 year licensing agreement in place, so if they want to use each others design elements in their phones, they're legally entitled to. I believe this is in the best interest of not only both companies, but also the consumer, because at the end of the day, no matter what side you're on, we end up with two beautifully designed phones that cater to different people.
Also your comment on Apple Pay is ridiculous. If you like Apple's implementation of mobile NFC payments, good for you, you're free to use it. However, to say that anyone is coping Apple when it comes to that area is just absurd. Apple took an idea thats been around for years (2011 in Android, 2012 in Windows Phone) and implemented it in a very Apple esque way (in 2014). Sooo....yeah.

Too small screen and it's also very ugly, but phones aren't about appearance (they have never been). Just make that screen at least 5.5" and leave those (unnecessary, for me) front speakers for smaller models and make the device small with a big screen. That's all I ask.

What's the point of 5.2" display on a phone which is labelled as Plus? The standard version is 5", and the Plus is only 0.2" extra? Doesn't make any sense!
