Sir,i use Xperia m dual, i don't update my Xperia m dual jelly bean to kitkat. Sir i am a big sony lover but now i am upset for this news.Sir i buy my mobile with rs 11000, is that price is so low that u all couldn't update for this device.Sir try to understand our problem. My all friends update their mobile jelly bean to kitkat among of them are gionee p4,it's just 7500.
Sir Samsung mobile supported ifont but sony can't support it because it's need update to kitkat for support this amazing software. Sir some sont theme can't support in my xp m because it is bot able to update kitkat. Sir i hope u try to understand our m device owners problem. THANK YOU.

motorola did late on some updates for Moto G 2014, but better later than nothing like samsung and sony, they didn't forget the updates for 2013 Moto G and E, I can believe they will keep them up to date.
I mentioned LG because in last year the LG Maximo G did receive 4.4 while samsung S3 didn't received, which 2012 phone did receive the kitkat ? only the Maximo G and Nexus 4, I don't remember nothing more.
also lg's phones in early 2013, which are mid range did receive kitkat like the L7 II and L9 II. most other phones like them didn't receive.
I used android since froyo 2.2 and I swapped many phones and used android of my friends, I am not a flagship user, I was always a low and mid range user and I can conclude that sony, huawei and samsung are really worst for updating low/mid phones, seriously not single new android, only providing firmwares. and LG yes they provided kitkat for many lg phones which were jellybean 4.1 more than any brand.
about lollipop, LG F60 already received. LG L90 D410 already received in russia.. is there any more other brand with low/mid range providing lollipop ???

If you refer to S*ms*ng section you will see a lot of people complaining the new updates due to the incompatibility and bugs. So it would be really easy for Sony to release new updates but this is the prestigious Sony not da*mn S*ms*ng. Do you want an upgrade or downgrade? Anyway you could be sure that if Sony find your phone hardware compatible, they won't delay offering new updates

Just a warning..
Sony is the only manufacturer ( in the league of HTC , Samsung & LG ) who is yet to release Lollipop to any one of the devices. We are yet to see a teaser of developer preview for Sony devices. So there are chances Sony is having difficulties in getting Lollipop worked out..
Based on possible difficulties, they may even trim the number of Z devices scheduled for Lollipop update. If that happens it will be the first gen Z devices- Z , ZL , ZR.. May be Z1 , Z1C and Z1 Ultra..

Sony india tell about the lollipop update came in the last week of March 2015 or first week of may for z series that's very bad news for all the z series consumer

WTF, why is Sony doing this, I bought an expensive T2 ultra dual and whats the use if it doesn't give scheduled updates in the 18 months time frame, Sony will soon loose its business and the Chinese will overcome these Japanese. I bought an expensive phone thinking Sony will update the software in the future.
Sony you will seriously loose this time, u need a serious turn around, people don't buy Sony, not the cheap one and not even the costly one, service is all the same.
