Ppi is what you're thinking of but when viewing a photo on a screen, it's all moot anyway.
As for the handset, make it run WinMo and lower the camera to 5MP and I'd be all over it.
But 12MP is a joke, as is Samsung's 'feature-phone' OS.

well having looked at the photo's it looks more like a camera than a phone and it will fit into the pocket ok.just point and shoot
as for the price think it will be more than what it's worth
and on the last photo's it look's like a phone
some clever thinking has gone in to making it but will you need a MicroSD for the photo's as its going to use a lot of memory

Those figures are backed by leading market research organizations. Sony is number 1 in compact camera from when? They are number 2 behind Canon. Fuji, Panasonic, Pentax are big names but they are NOT among top5 digital camera makers. Get your facts straight. Looks like you have no idea what's been happening in the digicam market for last 2 -3 years.

4000-5000 mah battery is ridiculously big for a mobile phone. have a look at the battery on your laptop and it will be at least 4000 mah and physically the battery will be bigger this phone itself.

Samsung is the new baby of gsmarena next to nokia. Just take a look at the review section it's all samsung and nokia. I still remember what they wrote about Palm Pre being a CDMA phone and now they are so eager to review the Samsung W880 CDMA. Common GSMarena be fair to other brands.

This phone has excellent HD video recording quality, but it lacks many features, such as WIFI and GPS. The picture quality of the camera is still horrible looking at 12mp, which needs more improvements. Why don't phone makers just make a phone that has all the advanced capabilities into one single phone. Instead of this phone has this and the other has that. That really sucks...

technology is a failure, i mean evrything has been improving, new technology in everything, camera, sound, high definition, led, touchscreen, wifi, i mean everything superb, but battery all crap which is 1000 mah 1100, 1200, i mean what nonsense, it should atleast now be 4000 - 5000 mah, its the same since years, now the phone has everything music, videos, movies, internet, business, i mean everything you can imagine but crap battery
