Ppl saying update taking late even mid range mobile like moto got lollipop but no on understand they use Google stock rom there won't be nothing special in it but in Xperia Sony have its own beautiful Xperia Ui to come over ppl don't understand it finally my Z2 getting lollipop can't wait to see hw my beauty will look in it. And Sony already cleared entire Z series will get lollipop including Zr so wait....

I bought z2 2 week before in india - it's great news :-) SO far lollipop videos on z3 &z3 compact are impressive. Eagerly waiting ...........................

Dis is totally non sense when will get da update lollipop am having z2...other average smartphones got update last year only....how long we have to wait sony is making shit to their customers...foolish

hey guys sony already released the lollipop aosp for all z series unofficially if u want it go http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/open-source/open-devices/list-of-devices-and-resources/ but unlocking the bootloader may void the warranty then choice is urs.....................

An assumption only..
Z , ZL & ZR guys shouldn't except the Lollipop update or they should be having a very small chance.
Z1 , Z1C & Z Ultra are having 50 - 50 chances for the update.
Reason : Sony took a while to get the Lollipop update ready when compared to LG , HTC & Samsung, which means they could have met some difficulties in between. They have already dumped some the recent mid level launches and the above 5 phones, except Z1C have passed 18 months support period..

That's kinda bad if the update will be "sometime this month" when the file was being uploaded two days ago. How big is this file, a few petabytes?
