            The UK and French models are 8GB Single SIM devices.

            In Brazil and China they get the 4G 16GB Dual SIM models, but when they finally decide to release the European models not only do we not get the Dual SIM feature, we get half the storage space on top of that.

              I would have chosen the new Moto G 4G 2nd Gen as my first smartphone, but I am really disappointed by what they have done, not to mention falsely advertising that it did have a Dual SIM feature.

                Its's almost like they removed the feature so they would have something to add to a new device when that is released. And when that device is released they have subtracted some other feature, which they intend to add to the next device after that. And so on, and so forth.

                Keep you buying the next thing, hoping that it will be exactly what you want.

                  Here is another message from motorola uk which confirms the UK version is single SIM only;

                  "Thank you for contacting Motorola and for interest in our new device."

                  "We would like to inform you that the MotoG 2nd generation LTE has one SIM slot."

                    AnonD-366247, 13 Mar 2015Yep, spoke to Motorola before going ahead with my pre-order... moreI was really expecting Dual SIM to feature in this phone, and I was hoping to use the second SIM for a data plan in order to finally get independant access to the internet while away from the house. The data plans that you can get as add-ons for your voice sim are too expensive for what you get.

                    I am really disappointed by this and I don't think I will be buying it afterall. I think I will have to go with a Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual Sim, when/ if they become available (you never know what they'll do to screw something up).

                      My Android interest is lost! Joining the dark side and buying an iPhone. Because f*** you Qualcomm!

                        Yep, spoke to Motorola before going ahead with my pre-order, and they confirmed the website page has not been updated to say that this new version is only single SIM and also still only 8GB memory so not same as the one sold in Brazil.

                        basically, all you gain is 4G and a slightly larger battery (needed for 4G anyway), lose the dual SIM feature, all other features are same as old model :-(
                        Hence, I'm not buying it.

                            As far as I can tell, there's a SIM tradeoff between the two new 2015 models: the new 3G version comes with a double SIM, the new 4G 2015 version comes with a single SIM.

                                  Good news from a god phone. There are many city in UK where is not 4G and many houses with no internet and you can not make phone-coal from the tube in London and they are asking huge prices compare with Romania (where you can make phone-coal from the tube and there is not line rental ). UK is behind like technology covering compare with Romania.
