Its cheap for a good reason. To allow peoples that can't afford expensive flagship to enjoy smartphone experience in midrange hardware with very low attractive prices. Are you jeleous, that xiaomi that are providing millions of people with affordable smartphones and are in world top 5 manufactures. While I agree, everyone have a different choice when it comes to brand, but bashing and BS it in here will lead no nowhere and its a pointless discussion. So just relax and use whatever you are using right now.

So I guess the good designers are with Sony because this phone is nothing like the beautiful sony vaio pcs. Its a midrange phone so the specs wouldn't be noteworthy either.

hmmmm...nothing that can make me go wow with the specs. agree with the comments...old technology already. plus why the small screen? would have been better if it was a little bigger...then again, that's just me. different strokes for different folks. :)

Thanks G it doesbnlook like any Xperia as some had predicted it would. Not that Xperias look bad but their design is synonymous with their bloat, low build quality and extremely cold color displays. This Vaio looks ok but the chipset specs are not even midrange for 2015 and 5 inch 720p is only acceptablw for the farsighted people, who are not so numerous in Japan. Great that it has a reasonable thickness and not following the stupid trend to only make everything thinner and thinner.
