i got the update and downloaded it BUT since then my password doesnt work for Market,Background data activation or my Gmail account.i cant access any of them and its refused to allow me thru other Gmail mobile accounts.HELP.....i dont want to factory reset and loose my data and apps...

Look under settings to change the duration of your video recordings.

The one thing I don't like is that the video cam does not have endless rec time now just 1 min long :(

After the 1.6 donut update I keep getting the android.process.acore has stop unexpectantly box, its real annoying and I don't know how to fix this! Other than that everything else its pretty cool,

I'm very thankful I received the 1.6 update. I'm with AT&T and I have a G1, the
funny thing is I was looking for the update 1.6 donut link for manual downloading all morning using my wifi connection, no luck. So about 3 pm eastern time, I'm staring at my g1 bored, and low and behold a grey tmobile
Update box appears on my screen wtf??lol it's my donut 1.6 from tmobile even though I'm with AT&T (weird) but I didn't hesitate to install. I like 1.6 donut
every thing runs smoother, the market looks better, the camera operates well now. If G1 owners only can get a FLASHPLAYER as a final gift from google, we will be happy. What the hell is so hard about making flashplayer?? Seriously.. and oh yeah, the G1 is still better than the mytouch that's why its still selling, andif you love playing emulators like genesis, nintendo,snes. With my G1 I can actually do combo's, and play the game like how it suppose to be played, not chicken peck a screen to move the character and have 1 button to duck lol you
Iphone and mytouch owners must feel like retards trying to play a emulator smhthe G1 owns all, and its the best phone ever created.

Did anyone have problems witht he update? Since updating my search no longer works on my g1, anyone know anything I can do to fix this?

It alrigh the camera is faster. They need to enhance the music player and add an equaliser. I aslo would be nice to have the screen in landscape mode when on the main page w/o the keyboard open. great phone I love this phone

The update is okay. The new face of the camera/camcorder is bad. Yes it is much faster but you lose more space on the screen. Before the entire screen was the viewpoint of the camera lens. Now you have this grey boxing around the screen making it smaller. They should have at least mad the icons transparent.

Oh and to hell with Android. Their fans get on my nerves; worse than Symbian, Winmo, iPhone combined. They're like the Linux fans of mobile phones. Nice update though.

They should've used a Krispy Kreme box instead of Dunkin. Krispy Kreme is Far Superior to Dunkin. Of and the updates good too.
