I never fail to be flabbergasted by commenters complaining that a screen size over 5 inches is 'too big' despite knowing that LG can accommodate this size screen in a device the same size or smaller than most other phones.
If it's the same size phone or less than other devices - does that mean you'd be happier with more bezel? I don't understand the logic. Yes they could probably manufacture a tiny phone with a 5" or less screen, but if you want one of those you can buy the G2. People are doing more on their phones all the time & let's face it - none of our eyesight is getting better as we age.
Bring it on LG - and if it comes with a removable battery - I'll definitely be getting one. Wouldn't be suprised if you clean up the flagship division.

AnonD-374603, 16 Mar 2015an LG Phone with 5.6" screen is just an equivalent to ... moreYeah.. they need it bigger, because they have to show the onscreen soft-key buttons.
In the end, it shows less info then a 5.7 inch note.

LG must keep their "big screen compact device" kinda of style because in the future, all mobile devices will be bezels-less, compact and of course, foldable;)

Reallu??? I wonder what will be size of g4 note because that is supposed to be phablet not this... Lg will sell better with g4 at 5 inches and g4 note at 5.6 inches..
And if it has 3k display, g4 will be far behind in flagship race in performance as in g3.. They even do not have a vr yet so why bother 3k resolution???
S6 will dominate with a much bigger margin then...
And with 2k, we wanna see a bog improvement....

Some people on here are so silly with their remarks, 5.6" is nothin, I have a 6.44" Sony Z Ultra and I find that quite small. Most of you have never even handled a phablet and you make such stupid comments, 5" is for little kids, all flagships should now be phablet size, it just make sense. Also there is no such overheating with the s810 it's yet again all a myth plus in a phablet size there will be no such issues with overheating.

Big screen this, phablet that...are you people serious?
It's going to be nothing more than a G3 with updated specs and software tweaks/additions. The G3 is already 5.5", so I hardly think it would matter if the G4 turns out to be 5.6 inches.
Doesn't matter anyway. With an SD 810, it's going to be prone to overheating and throttling, which will equal bad performance. Even the G3 had overheating issues with the SD 801.

AnonD-375467, 16 Mar 2015Now that's too much, they're taking away a huge part of the... moreThe 5.5" G3 is not that much bigger than the iPhone 6, with its pathetic screen-to-front-surface ratio. I'm pretty sure the iPhone 6 has sold reasonably well despite its poor handling.

LG knows how to make a small phone with larger screen.

5.2 and 5.6 won't make too much different, I hope the bigger size will accommodate larger battery capacity.
As long as the width of the phone can be kept under 75mm

Now that's too much, they're taking away a huge part of the flagship market target.
A 5.6inch screen is completely out of the smartphone definition, this just can't be a flagship, that size is just unmanageable, that's for the Phablet market.
Sure some people might say, there will be a LG G4 Mini. Maybe it will be, but with the specs cut LG always do with the mini versions. SORRY, BYE LG.

I doubt it but if the can make it 5.6" in same size as G3 then that will be amazing
