When you write "QHD display option for the One M9, which would definitely appeal to a lot of users", do you seriously believe a lot of average users know what QHD stands for? Or can tell the difference between FHD and QHD at a glance?

Something that doesn't make you stand out, like 24k gold plating, doesn't really appeal to a lot of users. QHD doesn't stand out, nobody will know weather its QHD or FHD or 4k unless you tell them. And you can simply lie...

Charley, 18 Mar 2015Off contract price of $350 would be big news. Yeah, not gona happen.

I'm still wondering how the hell this phone costs more than the S6 when the S6 is jammed full of bleeding-edge technology while the M9 is using mostly downgraded components.

An announcement such as? Mhhh! No ois with the 20 mgpxl camera (low light is still one of the worst, according to many tech. Sites),...I had m8,...best UI ever, nothing to say about the construction, but mesures are not as male reproduction measures, ...too big bezels ,...isn't an advantage! Imo!

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2015proof. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s6-review-12... moreThey made a note saying that this wasn't the final build right under their battery-life test.

The final build is set to release real soon and Samsung is giving reviewers a week or so to review it. This strongly suggests that Samsung believes that final build will change battery life, else they would have just let reviewers post their reviews already.

It's not like htc, who set the embargo lift date to YESTERDAY, meaning that not much will change from what tweakers posted yesterday.

Samsung raced to 14nm and Qualcomm has no answer for it until the Snapdragon 820 released later in the year. OEM's like LG, Sony, and Motorola are left in the dust even before releasing their 2015 flagships. Samsung was planning way ahead of time like over two years ago while Qualcomm became a fat cat thinking they will dominate another year with any SoC they throw at them. Samsung's decision of going Exynos is getting wise by the day because others are left relying on Qualcomm that becomes outdated technology before release.

Fast charging after 10 min with 4 hr use and wireless charging is also an advantage for Samsung over HTC One M9.

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2015s6 battery life is worse than S5. huge step backwards.S6's battery life is only worse than the S5 in stand-by time and 3G talk-time. I always charge my phone every other day, so that won't be a problem for me.

The M9's battery life is SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE than the M8.

Why can HTC spend time to update their old flagship devices like One (M7 & M8) and One Max with Android 5.0 Lollipop than keep on releasing new devices?
