I love the subtle jab in the article about android phones being metal frame with glass backs, but not true. Apparently the s6/edge (not yet out), Sony z series, and mi note pro (non-US phone) represents the android world? If we go back further we can include optimus g/nexus 4 (not sure if metal frame or not) and I can't think of many others. At least not mainstream phones.

Great phone, poor OS and software.
Huawei Honor 3C user, cheap price, great camera, and battery, hammered down by poor and laggy software. I would think 1000 times before spending my money on it's high end model.

Three of my friends have the P6, one has had restarting issues but it was just a defect issue from an app he installed. I switched from HTC, had a Desire HD and Sensation. Stopped using HTC when they released the One Series. I miss old HTC though.

i had a huawei before. the phone is great but they never update their software ever! i risk to update mine from ICS to JB. it went well and good. pretty sure this phone will stuck on what OS it has.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2015I don't see a single similarity between the P8 and the iPhoneyou are right. they hate huawei coz they cant admit that a chinese brand can produce a beautiful as this? hauwei developed their own chipset and as a result of long term investment and studies they came up this faster kirin 925 which currently running in mate 7 and report says that kirin 950 will be powering next huawei nexus 8 and D8. lets wait and see how many millions of huawei bashers are thre. I will be loyal to huawei back then I got my first phone from them D1 quad xl.

If there is only huawei left, I prefer never use phone again rather than buy a huawei crap!
Imagine a fu*kn phone restarts 10 times in a day with no reason, yeah this is the hi-tech of huawei.
You wait for fix, of course next millenium if you lucky are.
Go buy huawei, it fits for you.

I am pretty sure there will be an update to lollipop, knowing Huawei they waiting for Android 5.1. They have mentioned when they announced their series that the Platinum (P) series is their upper range series with an affordable price. The Diamond (D) series is their actual flagship series with their Q3 chips ets. Though there hasn't been one since D2 because they were focusing on making the G Series and Mate Series more premium.
