Samsung I dont mean to be offensive but your tablets are RUBISH your phones are OK but im starting to think I'd be so much more happy with a first kindle as my secound SORRY.

And you're wrong, 4K would be just perfect for a mobile VR experience. You obviously haven't read or watch (from YouTube) the many reviews about the Samsung gear VR experience. I've read (and watched) just about all of them, and not one stated that the Gear VR experience was bad or not enough to create the immersive feeling you get in a good VR experience, in fact, many were blown away by the fact that a mobile device can produce such a descent virtual reality experience. So, you see, despite occasionally being able to notice the individual pixels is the weakness of the Note 4 VR experience, it's still not enough to ruin the wow factor of the experience, now just imagine quadrupling the resolution, won't that be just perfect? And I believe the next version of the Note would do just that.

Example look as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and the "A" range you see Samsung can make a metal clad phone WITH a removable battery.
The A range then ADDED microSD but change it to NON user replaceable battery, in effect reversing the SG Alpha...
It will take market away from the Apple as it cost the same as a basic iPhone but comes with specs
Except for Antutu 5 which is NOT available for an iPhone the S6 destroys ALL the benchmarks posted by the iPhone 6
I like many who have a Galaxy phone won't by an iPhone even one made by Samsung...
It will sell as it offers now to Samsung "converts" an iPhone with specs Apple may never offer...

Mate I have a 2 years old son and a three months old son. I don't need such an expensive phone to make their pictures. Just get a camera. It's much cheaper with many megapixels.
These companies are just ripping off the people, saying, our new phone can do this, can do that, boil an egg, bake a cake or whatever.

If your eyes are so sharp so as to notice the difference between 1080p and QHD on a 5 inch screen then they are sharp enough to notice whether a video is native or upscaled. Upscaling a video doesn't make it sharp, it makes it pixelated. Going by your logic a 240p video would look fabulous on a 4k screen because 4k screen makes it sharper! 1080p on a 4k TV looks horrible up close. Also, even 4k on a 5 inch screen is not enough for VR.

Personally, I now more than ever value a phone with a great camera (my Note 4). Since the birth of my daughter, I've taken well over 1500 pics. I carry my music and I've even read a few books. So no, these are not JUST phones.

S6 edge I think looks stylish and different and has the most up to date software and hardware but the main problem for me is........ the overpriced ridiculous contracts being offered. I feel this will be its downfall.....otherwise personally I like the look of it!!

Its not just the phones
Personally I do not despise apple as it is, or their product which is overall good but extremely overpriced for what you get, Its just the users that buy it innerve me...
Samsung was another story, I despise the company that is rotten and lame to the bone, but users did not innerve me...until now
However now that the same company I quite despise made a turn to an extremely overpriced closed product just like the iphone, the company taked the top despise cake, and users buying s6 begin to innerve me just like apple users
I cant help it, that uberconsumerism crap innerves me :-)

Fu... moreI don't think upscaling a video to fit a certain screen resolution will make it look pixelated, it instead will make it look even better, sharper, don't you think? I mean, haven't you ever watched a 1080p video being played on a 4k TV before? It looks great.

People, these are just phones. Just bloody phones!! It doesn't matter if it's a M9, s6/Edge, iPhone 6/plus, SONY Z4 or whatever. They get outdated after 1 year. I don't understand people who pre-order them or pay a fortune of money to be the first to have them. Just wasting their money. I mean 500,600,700,800,900,1000 dollars, pounds for what???

I agree - don't s... moreIt is a pretty boy strategy just like Apple and I don't like it either. Too shallow. Design/build quality is the least of my worries. SCREEN, BATTERY, CAMERA, and APPS is all a good smartphone needs to excel. Stuff like DESIGN is shallow and only for bragging rights.
It still might work and sell better than the S5. People bashed iPhone 6/6+ and sold in record numbers. I just hope Samsung returns to their ethos with the next Note. Don't follow the same route as Apple, HTC, and Sony. Practicality over fashion.
