I'm sick of this..PEOPLE, DONT compare satio with samsung! the iphone is the enemy, and SE is going for it. i bet if the price tag of omnia was closer to apple, it would sell better! so, for all those who are going after expensive showoff, buy this one instead iphone and save some money. rest my case

Looks like the resistive touchscreen of Satio is its Achilles heel & the 12mp cam can't save it & of no help at all since Samsung is clearly the current leader !

damn... i think its more of a "used-to-be" great product,... yes it was announced back in february... but so much has been more than just happening... the android wave from moto, htc and what not, winmo htc hd2... heck i'm not an iphone fan but you have to admit with 3gs iphone has become a real phone we're used to (the addition of conventional yet so important functions such as data-transfer bluetooth, vcard transfer albeit over mms instead of sms, copy & paste, sms forwarding) not to mention great video editing... all these sony ericsson competitors are supported with app stores, something symbian greatly lacks... the only thing that can save satio is its 12mp camera that even samsung has launched a couple of months ago... i'm a big se fan, it hurts me writing this...

You'll be paying for the camera mainly here. SE could have easily released this with a 8mp camera and cut costs, especially as the second generation of 8mp camera phones are so good (Omnia HD, N86). Nice try SE, but this will simply not sell very well.

The best OS is Android. they are open source and the only multitouch OS beside apple. Just wait until they can codex AVI/XviD.

it's been a while since we have crowdy discussion again.
It's nice but not the phone. it's one of the worst kind. late and overpriced!
Samsung may sell their omnia HD for 850 Euro or more if looking at this satio ridiculous pricing from se..
