After seeing how awesome the S6 Edge looks, the future of smartphone designs lies with non-conventional screen shape.

AnonD-359093, 24 Mar 2015And why would I need a foldable phone....Samsung is retardedhaha then stick with your Nokia 1100

Bendable displays are a good idea because they can be folded and our smartphones will become, for example pocketable, like they used to be (remember older feature phones or old small screen smartphones - think about mostly S*ny Eric*son or No*ia models). I'd love to use my phone as a smartphone while web browsing, game playing (I rarely play games on my phone) or when I need to edit or read something. Then I would put my smartphone in my pocket and make it thicker and narrower. That would be enough for reading your notifications, SMS and call dialing or receiving or for the music player/radio or whatever doesn't need you to look at the touchscreen. This companies don't hire people without or with awful ideas. So people, think before speaking and think that this technology could lead us to maybe two sided bendable, rollable, foldable and curved screens. So for example you could on one side have an e-ink screen and bend it and on the other side you could have a normal touchscreen. Perhaps we won't even need touchscreens. This could make the interface to become based on gestures, actually on physical gestures instead of using touchscreens as an input for our smartphones. Actually there was such a concept, that mini N-g*ge console - the one model who had that very thin screen. I know the image and you can see it on the web too. Just search N-g*ge concept. Yes, that screen is not thinner enough to be foldable. Of course at the time the OSs which we are now used to didn't existed, but now they do exist and they can be incorporated into our phones. This may sound crazy but I'm pretty certain that this will, sooner or later happen.

ive been reading articles that company X or Y will produce & release bendable or flexible phones the next year, etc. etc. for ages now.
