Finally after waiting for so long... Samsung has released the update in India.. I have received the notification today morning..

Yesterday i've got the latest update of lolipop 5.1.1 in my Mote 3 neo. None of my contects fade away. My battery is working as usual. An addition to these, the experience is gabulous as compared with kitkat. Graphics almost changed. Speed is also same as before. The only problem you will have to face is if u don't use external memory card then internal memory is not sufficient though it is 16GB. You will have to uninstall unused updates and apps before you update to lolipop 5.1.1. Hope the answer of your queries.

I've recently upgraded my Note 3 neo (SM - N750) to the new android Lollipop 5.1.1.
The lollipop update is an amazing update. It is a total overhaul of your operating system. Everything works like a charm and all the upgrades are extremely useful and awesome.
Pros :
1. Extremely fresh and new built and design.
2. All the required animations are there and the lockscreen also has some useful features.
3. The functionality of the phone has improved a lot.
4. There are a lot of new features added.
Cons :
1. I think the upgrade was yet under development when they released it because it lags at the home screen menu.
2. The lockscreen also hangs and sometimes doesn't work at all.
Overall the upgrade is amazing but it needs a lot of work. I would request Samsung to release a solution solving upgrade after this lollipop update.

Hi guys...some r saying updating will land up in battery draining nd lagging issues...is it true..has anyone encountered such prob?...is it safe to update or be in kitkat

If the contacts appear OK in Google – via the web-browser, we will simply go into the Android Contacts and “clear the cache” and let it rebuild/resync from Google.
From the main screen, press MENU key–Settings
Select Application Manager (or Applications)
Using the tabs at the top for ALL (apps), find “Contacts Storage” (NOT “Contacts”), select it, then choose “Clear Data” and OK.
Go into your contacts and they should start to sync (or check the Account Properties for the Google Account and do a sync)
it worked for me perfectly---can't make any promises but i'm a happy camper after my update today!

People who lost their contacts do this
1st method:Quick Settings > Turn Sync On.
2nd method: Turn off phone. Press vol up + power + home. Navigate using vol down. Select wipe cache partition by power button. Try this bro hope it will get your contacts back

Raina, 24 Jan 2016Same problem with me did you got any solution brother No brother till now i didn't find any solution but thinking to root my phone for once .. if it is not solved then i will send it to service center or if u find any solution please suggest me !! And i tried to submit this report in samsung support but it doesn't registered don't know why it was telling again again to enter your email address even after i entered the address !!

Hey frndZZZ... I got lollipop update on my note 3 neo last night... But dont know much more about it, many of them are saying that if u update ur note 3 neo to lollipop version it will eat ur all ram and ur cell phone will be slow and hangs all time and other says if u update ur cell phone battery will drain faster. So dont know update or not.
Any suggestions???

Please help me guys i have updated my note 3 neo to lollipop of indian version after updating everything works fine but stuck with only 1 issue my contact list &my call log is not showing it is showing that contacts are being updated & even i can't save any new contact i have also restarted my phone several times but nothing happened what should i do ??

After long time my phone has been updated to lollipop but issue is coming while checking call hisrory phone get stuck unbale to call back quickly...Samsung pliz fix this on new update...ASAP
