Unfortunately some of us don't like TouchWiz, Sense, or whatever it is that manufacturers like to put on their phones, so we buy the ones that offer a big custom rom and third party developers support. This decimates the collection of phones available.

E, 29 Mar 2015This device is better looking than the M9 itself. If only t... moreSure , M8, M9 and M9 plus has asymmetrical speaker grills which makes them ugly. This E9 + has equal sized speaker grills on the top and bottom and looks far better though is made of plastic . The only flaw is the huge rear cam lens which makes it a little ugly on the back. Since E9 + has 534 ppi htc should have made the the screen larger to 5.9 inch or atleast 5.7 inches.

S6 has way more powerful specs...QHD screen and small battery capacity than M9...but still S6 endurance is better than HTC M9 which has a little smaller screen that to of lower resolution (FHD)...and has bigger battery capacity than S6...but still it's battery life is worse than S6...!
I am not a fanboy , i actually don't like both either...but if still i have to choose from this two...i would go for S6...!

The phone is not out yet and you so... morejust do the math before judging. you saw how the m9 battery held up, or more like didn't, crappy result for a 2015 flagship, and the galaxy s6 shows slightly superior battery life with QHD screen and pratically same battery capacity, that shows that samsung optimizes their batteries better than HTC, but let's not get off topic. with an increase to 5.5" (needs bigger battery than if 5"， more to light up) and an increase to QHD resolution (more pixels to light up, they do not use samsung's screen technology that "spends as much battery as a 1080p screen" (proven with the note 4) so they also need a bigger battery, what do they do? keep it exactly the same. I seriously predict a battery disaster is on the way, worse than the s6 and m9, 50ish hours endurance time max, dissapointed in htc.

The Butterfly 3 better not disappoint. the Butterfly series is HTC's best line of phones. When will they realize this....i don't know.It's basically everything you wanted the HTC One to be, but better. Always better. Never fails.

Mediatek with a 28nm architecture, 5.5" 534ppi display and a 2800mah battery. This is a joke. With a phone this size, they could easily make it 0.5mm thicker and squeeze in a 3500mah battery, which would still offer just an average usage time. If it came with a bigger battery and a Snapdragon I'd be a potential buyer, but now I wouldn't touch it with a stick. Shameful.
