SK Telecom faces sales ban just as Galaxy S6 nears launch

30 March, 2015
The ban will last just 7 days this time, much shorter than the 45 day ban last year before the Galaxy S5 launch.

Stef, 30 Mar 2015That makes absolutely no sense. I have an ultrafast SSD... moreNo. The board did not have the required amount of pins to keep and uphold the full speed of the ufs memory and supply an SD slot.

Whether or not that was due to space, time, know how, or what that they couldn't add the extra pins to have both is the question

dlads, 30 Mar 2015Absolute crap what you just said, the processor is not fast... moreProcessor is a lot faster in Exynos.
And the Mali in the note 4 was a lower clocked mp6. This is a somewhat higher blocked mp8.
The graphics are at least as strong. But Mali even slightly weaker in the note 4 showed better gaming.

Now the s810 has a weaker CPU score by good amount, throttles a lot quicker, heats a lot more, and ultimately the GPU throttles a lot more.

You have no clue what you are saying. Just fan ranting.

azan, 31 Mar 2015Samsung galaxy s6 body look like iphone 6.How? By the Samsung design, rounded frame, and bottom placement of speaker and headset jack that iPhone 6 copied?
And where Samsung looks entirely different?

Samsung went its own way to leverage its manufacturing advantage - while the basic design isn't too different, the 14nm process keeps the chipset running cool. Snapdragon 810 on the other hand has had difficulties keeping cool, which reduces its performance potential"

And I have used both devices (Briefly, mind you, but I assume it's the same for you. And in regards to being cooler, there are multiple tests that have shown the measured heat of the devices doing same tasks. In one particular test the M9 was about 46 degrees Celsius, where the Note 4 was 38, and the S6 was 37.

You are literally aiming at the four slave cores, of which they will hardly ever be used unless your device is in your pocket, infact if you add a few wakelocks in there i'm sure that those four faster cores will be kicking in.

                      Rant over, i'm done.

As for the screen, I can't deny that Samsung has done some good things, with that being said you are talking about an octa core device, meaning that the slave cores are firing most of the time, as soon as you give it something to do and believe me once touchwiz is loaded with facebook and a few emails it'll be on it's knees, playing a game? Forget about better battery performance.

As for design, i'm sorry but HTC has and always will have better looking devices than samsung, I've had samsungs I'm just not biased.

Lets see what happens when we have them in our hands eh ?

Moving on and apologies for sounding like a d*** but your arguments are the one's that lack substance, i know the processors, you seem to know how to read a blog and nothing more, I've used both devices you haven't. :) fail.

Please compare the two devices you utter weirdo.

Before you think i'm bashing samsung, I have a Note 4 now, as well as an iPhone 6 as I see merits on both devices, the HTC m9 is miles ahead of the S6 and if you're anything like me and you root your devices then you'll also want to have the HTC, the samsung uses the exynos which as any decent developer will tell you is a pain in the backside to develop for.

Think before you speak soft lad.

It would not slow the system down as a whole, but the problem being that most people who have a Micro SD card in use for their phones store things like music and photos on them, which takes longer for the phone to open up.

I have an ultrafast SSD -in my PC- for my OS and a far slower HDD for my data. It's a concept used for decades. Fast storage for small reads/writes (OS files), expansive storage for data. Now what happened with Samsung and and spoilt it?

I don't buy that it would make the phone slower, this is simply unhistorical and espoused only by people who know close to nothing about computer hardware.

External storage got the cut for two reasons. Costs/size (it would make the phone a bit more expensive to make and a little thicker) and profits (Samsung prefers to be the one selling any extra storage in the form of additional storage options for S6).
