daz, 07 Apr 2015Sure, Samsung may win the processor battle, but LG could tr... moreFirst off the SoC is a LOT better. Not just a little better.
LG's LCD be better than Samsung's latest Amoled? LOL!!!!
Better camera is highly doubtful. LG never did that before. The F1.8 seems promising though.
And the S6 is beating the S5 in all battery areas except call time despite the smaller battery. And definitely outclassing the GFlex 2 and M9.
The G4 would need a considerable battery size to match or surpass it here.

Again processor only advantage? LOL. And it's a large advantage not just a little one. It's the absolute best performing SoC while being much more power efficient and barely throttling.
As well as their camera has a strong lead over most.
And the display is tied with the Note 4 for World's best.
The Wolfson Audio DAC also is outclassing just about all except M9 because HTC is better at tuning the audio. Wish Samsung could have optimized it better still.
The battery life is leading so far. Still possible to get even better.
The build quality and materials "two different areas" are among the best. The S6 Edge is one of the most durable phones ever to come along in drop tests.
I still like the texture of the S5/Note 4's and how you can access the battery though.
And despite the lack of SD card their UFS 2.0 storage far outclasses any other internal storage of any device out.
Touchwiz is far outclassing as well. It's been further refined and optimized along with much more powerful hardware. Still has the most advanced features, security, and multi tasking. And for those who don't like the looks it now has a deeply rooted theme engine.
And please don't go on about Optimus UI being so far ahead. It's only about to take it's second step away from being a Touchwiz copy and paste. And what you prefer is preference. What online haters say is bologna. And which one does overall better more is factual.

I for one see the Samsung processor as its only real advantage tbh over its rivals.

If it comes with the S808 it should have more stable performance. Even a proper clock rate and battery capacity can with the S810 can provide decent results.

I'm imagining/hoping their display is more efficient. So the display should be a lot better. Ddr4 ram wins. Camera will be a good bit better. The radios will probably perform better. The software swill be somewhat further ahead. The speaker will most likely be better. Headphone output wool probably have a marginal gain.

QHD and SD808. How are they going to compete with the S6, again? Even the FHD and 810 Gflex2 is still behind the S6. Poor lg for not having their own monstrous chipset to rely on.

John G., 30 Mar 2015You lied about Qualcomm admitting an issue with the Snapdra... morereason to believe sd 810 has facing problem

htc m9 has bigger battery capacity than htc m8 but the battery is worse.

lg g flex2 has smaller screen than original g flex but the battery is weaker.

lg knows what is the best for its flagship phone g4.

samsung knows the exactly the sd 810 issues that made them not to go with sd 810 for the galaxy s6

sony z4 will surely face the same problems with htc m9 and g flex 2. goodluck to sony z4.

Overheating issues of 810 surfaced pretty well before m9 announcements. so the metal casing thing might amplify it, nevertheless any other casing does not hide or eliminate the fact that 810 Does have an overheating issue.
