Oh and one more thing. Before the xpressmusic and the n97, nokia fans were saying that the iphone touchscreen will quickly pass. That it would be a short-lived trend. Now that nokia is releasing a bunch of full touchscreen phones, you guys changed your mind and can't even seem to control your orgasms on the n900, lol.

You may want to take back what you said about the iphone asking their users to buy basic features from the app store. The n900 will not have mms, and I've heard from the defense of some nokia fans that mms will be available through nokia app store, lol. You nokia fans are funny. No consistency. You guys change your mind as soon as nokia changes something. Like you guys saying that capacitive is not good, but when nokia released a capacitive touchscreen phone, it's now good, lol. You guys made fun of iphone not able to send mms in the past, and now that the n900 does not have mms, you guys say that email is better, lol. You guys mock the apple apps store for selling apps. Now that the ovi is selling apps, it's ok. Hahahahaha.

Your comment is completely untrue, the apps on the appstore are made by third parties and they are ideas that you would never have thought could be avalable on a handset, not "basic features". Tell me what "basic features" youre meant to get in the Appstore. Besides, an elegant programmable envirenment with a full SDK will beat a "complete package from the box" any day simply because a team of engineers in a manufacturers office is no match for the tens of thousands of developers out there who have more talent than anybody at Nokia, Samsung, SE etc.

nokia is doing just fine with ovi, its meant its mor accessible to the consumer now.

and anyways iphone is not tech..... they sell you half a phone and THEY THEN ASK YOU TO BUY THE REST OF ITS BASIC FEATURES THROUGH ITUNES.

samsung nokia and sony mak a complete pack of features in the sale box lol. those three know whats what with mobiles.

it's some kind of a sick joke. this application uses up to 1 GB of ram O_O. For managing your phone? Seriously, W H Y. +now i'm experiencing some update issues (can't update ovi maps). another failure (c) Nokia. why did i ever go for that company's products...

do not syncronise all phone numbers i have in my contacts... very disappointing!
I continue syncing with zyb.com. This is the only one service, which syncs my contacts korrectly between my iPod Touch and my Nokia. Google can't do this either...
But I'm very disappointed about Nokia Ovi Suite

This software won't allow me to install it in another hard disk
partition except C:\ Drive. The software developer of Nokia should
know by now that not everyone likes to install their software in
                          C:\ drive...

Nokia should employ better software engineers...

If there's 1 thing we've all learned from nokia, it is to wait for the next update. They are the kings of incomplete software/firmware.
Yet I love the idea of what they are doing and we do really need a single app to manage everything...
I just needs to get softened around the edges !
                            And...
Having used both iTunes Store (where I HAD an account) and Nokia Music Store (where I now have an account), I just love Nokia's implementation a lot MORE. Its totally user friendly, intuitive and its a breeze to find what i'm looking for !

Ovi is redundant. N-Series phones have robust browsers such that I can check any email I'd like. Google Maps does the job, too. I don't get what the big deal is w/ Ovi except yet another thing to join.

Used Ovi store on the Nokia 6700 Classic, a poor mans version of Apple's and Blackberry's apps stores.

Although seems great but it would be a tough call with Apple aggressively coming with constant new updates to its iTunes. Anyway, I read another detailed preview (a little older article) which gives more insight of what this great suite can do... http://wccftech.com/2009/09/22/nokia-ovi-suite-20-preview/

Mind you, Nokia is still an infant at this stage and there is a long way to go if they really want to compete in the content market.
