Any time your hands are wet and you go near your phone your are going to be trying to use the screen. Trying to answer a call or dial or anything. You don't have wet hands and just pick up the phone over and over again. You'd dry them first of your not using the phone and just picking it up. This is for the situations where your phone screen gets a little wet or your hands do. Like if you're in the shower or of it rains a little bit an suit have to answer a call or respond to a text but your screen won't respond. Which is one of the most extremely frustrating things ever. This is an absolutely great innovation.

      Lg display lost to samsung is due to higher contrast,more colour garmut,brighter display and lastly more smoother screen

        Just realized this a day or two ago. Surprised I didn't earlier, or that at least in the past couple pages nobody thought of it.
        With that sensitivity for touches with water on the display...How much higher of a chance is there that this will be water resistant?

              You are completely contradicting reality to regurgitate the same fanboy misleading claims yet again.

              Same size=same size. Same height=same height. Saying the size of the phones is almost equal is implying overall size and being very misleading....

              And again....You regurgitating the display size completely neglects the speakers on the front of the Z4. And actually the side bezels are not that big on the Z3. Even the top and bottom ones slimmed down....And again....have speakers.

              As far as width it's less wide still and definitely thinner. And those count for a lot more then height. And you are still reaching across a taller screen on the G3/G4.

              Yes by not having buttons or speakers upfront it can be a little shorter.

                  the fact is that lg can make a bigger 5.5" screen phone in the body of z4. almost the same size.

                  because lg provides slimmer bezels top-bottom and sides. while sony always provide thick bezels on its phone that makes their phone bigger.
                  a phone with Bigger 5.5"screen size by lg is equals to a phone with smaller 5.1"screen size by sony.

                              but still the size of two phones are almost equal.

                              yes g4 is bit thicker but it is CURVED easier to grip and hold and it's more comfortable.
                              the thickest part is at 9.8mm but most part was measured at just 5.0mm.

                              z4 has measured at FLAT 8.0mm THICKNESS SLIPPERY glass BOXY type so its uncomfortable to hold.

                              if you try to compare g3 and z3 side by side you will see those two phones are the same in overall size.
                              given G3 HAS BIGGER SCREEN.

                                      Which also by the way ate the world's best mobile displays.
                                      Technically speaking the S5 1080p let alone the QHD version still smacks most of these QHD LCDs in all categories of quality except resolution.
