Aiden J., 04 Apr 2015Well, They are late with old ver. !!! its 5.0.2 LOLLIPOP th... moreBecause if they updated it to Android 5.1, they would have to basically throw away weeks of hard work and create a completely new ROM, and also have to wait for certification from Google. You then have at least 2 extra months of complaining to do.

LG G3, released June 2014, updated to Lollipop, December 2014

Oneplus One, released April 2014, updated to Lollipop April 2015

So yeah, Oneplus One is the slowest of the big flagship devices to come out in the first half of 2014 to update to Lollipop. It gets even worse if you compare with the second half of 2014 (Sony Z3, Moto X, Nexus 6 etc)

And even more idiotic, when one of the promises of Oneplus was that they would deliver fast Nexus-like updates to their device. Just yet another in the line of lies (announced size and specs don't match final product, that it's a startup company but owned wholly by Oppo etc)

Downloaded and flashed on 64GB Sandstone. Initial thoughts are positive, stable and 98% pure stock lollipop. No major bugs seen. Download size 705mb with full Google apps. Flashed with TWRP and yes a full wipe is needed before flashing otherwise you will get force closes.

Looks like the development team has released it in a hurry. Though they have listed out a few known bugs, we should expect more. I will wait for the Cyanogenmod 12s which should be out in a few more days. Probably move to Oxygen after I see a few reviews :)

For those of you asking if you can install or on your phone - You cannot install this on any phone other than the Oneplus One.
