LG boast about a wider aperture because they know it better than the galaxy s6 camera...they are not stupid to boast something which is not good..LG g2 camera was superior than the gs5 and g3 camera on par with the gs5..LG has proven thier product can best samsung even if it is by a small margin but the fact that it is better proves a lot..

M and M, 08 Apr 2015All flagships today have cameras with an aperture between F... moreExcept Samsung does have good processing. And the F1.9 not only makes it better then the Note 4 with the same sensor, but along with OIS make it considerably better than the S5.
Not to mention how much better the sensor and processing are from the S4.
Obviously nothing these phones can do fully matches what the 1020 or 808 can do. But ones like the S6 have dramatically lessened the gap and do have some advantages.
And the CM1 from Panasonic takes overall better photos than even the great Nokia's.
But a comparison of the 808, CM1, and S6 shows how far the S6 has come.

Leather is 1000 times better for a phone back than any metal, it's lighter, scratch resistant, doesn't screen antennas, and it's more classy and it looks better then an ugly, cold, scrath prone metal.
And you don't need to buy a $50 or more leather case to protect your metal phone.

It's 11% more light than S6, but... moreAll flagships today have cameras with an aperture between F/2.0 and F/1.8 and boasting about a big aperture without appropriate image processing is just like boasting about a bigger battery when your consumption has increased.
My point is that now that the screen size wars are over, they all try to brag about some other monkier like it was the coolest thing on earth when the truth is that aside from the lumia 1020, nothing really interesting has been happening to phone cameras in the last 3-4 years except from veeery small, incremental improvements. What you should get over is the fact that you won't take drastically better images today with an S6 or G4 than you used to take 3 years ago with a S4 or Lumia 820 or HTC OneX.

just like what i have mentioned G2 and G3 RECEIVED some MOST IMPORTANT AND BIGGER AWARDS@ MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS AND OTHER MAJOR EVENTS; @CES,iF, IFA, Reddot and more.
at the end of the day everyone must buy what phone that surly suit for them.

why i should buy this phone over HTC M9 or The upcoming Sony Z4? or the iphone 6?
some reasons are;
The uniqueness of this type of design from others.
i love the rear keys, i love the color, i love the CLASSY and ELEGANT back with Leather( i don't care if its a plastic or real).
since the G2 i started loving a phone that has a very slim bezel with good screen to-body -ration.
Removable battery
a bit curved QHD screen
8mp front camera, i love taking selfie anywhere.
Laser auto focus is really working.
the sweet LG UX and other exclusive features for LG phone.
I'm morethan happy to use the Snapdragon 808 over snapdragon 810. WHY? i personally believe LG knows what exactly is better for its flagship.
if the problems with the Snapdragon 810 is truly fixed then there is no reason not to go with for it's Flagship the G4!
the good price and the good service that lg provides in my place.
