I think Samsung should concentrate on the premium market and build a reputation as a permium manufacturer. I just don't see how this can phone compete with efforts from the Chinese companies.

ononih4_FJ, 10 Apr 2015Smartphone MidRange quad-core high price with RAM: 1or1.5GB... more1.5gb ram is less? Why do you expect more from a mid range offering? You people want more and more from a low price range. Pathetic. Just because a few Chinese companies are giving value products with an excellent price attached to it. But think of Samsung and it's outlets and service reach. How much it will cost the damn company?!! I'm no Samsung fan boy. I have a redmi 1s. Just think practically.

I love/hate how the "front camera" name has now evolved into a "selfie unit" !

This looks good, I hope the price is right.

Almost half of the built-in 8GB of storage is apparently taken up by system files and 4.7GB are left to the user.

Isn't this going to be confusing for buyers? There appears to be no tangible difference between the J series and the E series. They're having the same chipsets, the same RAM, even the same screens. So what would one buy, if one were to buy at all (I'll have a Xiaomi, thanks).
