The new opo update is not soo cool like the previous inbuilt cynogenmod,its buggy,nothing new in the update,and UI is very boring like google phones, I thought it will be awesome according to HYPE. Unexpected update,unsatisfying!

how do you know that this time it is something they can't keep... this rom has been certified by Google now it is legit as anything, unless they have a game breaking reasonable excuse.

I swear, I don't understand those people complaining about updates on OPO. 80% of smartphone brands do not updates their phones in time if not at all. Only a few do it in time, like Samsung, HTC and even those don't do it just as soon as a new version is out. Every custom rom created by a firm needs some time to be verified and if you want latest version of android, there's always vanilla version. If you don't know how to install it, that's a proof that you don't need newest version of Android.
For god's sake we have 4.4.4 on OPO, with regular updates by Cyanogen until their argument with OPO makers. There are very few glitches and a good battery life! So why do you want 5.0.2? I bet 90% of those wanting Lollipop doesn't even know what its new in it! In my personal opinion material design is ugly, bland and without any colorful emotion in it! Beside this there are a lot of problems with battery draining.
They're a small firm, give them time and don't forget that your beloved OPO was half price than any similar flagships! You gave them credits when you bought their phone so give them some credits now!
Personally, if possible, I would skip 5.0.2, 'cause it has so many bugs and wait for 5.1. My 4.4.4. runs just fine!

Which is why I don't get all worked up about updates. If the OS on any device I have WORKS, isn't buggy, runs everything I use, I leave it to others to do the beta testing. My device is 80% of the time used for work (phone, camera, web), can't afford to be rebooting it, installing updates, hanging apps. That's to the bleeding edge people out there...make it less painful when the time comes (app update that requires a newer OS) to actually update my phone. 4.3 runs well on the Mate2 (at least for me), not that Huawei updates anything LOL, but the person I sold my OnePlus One to, I've told her DO NOT update it unless I let her know, the other OS's have been buggy.
