hi friends you can solve your heat issue just changing your sett only..
swipe down your notification bar,press "+" button on right top corner,it is open Tiles& layouts there also available "+" at last click once ..you have scene "performance profile" there you can toggle your phone CPU usage for high performance& balance& power saving..chang it to balance& power saving

Gyas yurek is good .but hanging problem .play videos &open gallery . phone is restart ..otherwise no problem

Don't worry about heating issues in yureka,as soon as you update it to lollipop heating issues will be solved.trust me guys only few days left.

If Yureka is overheating and mediaserver is showing highest battry usage, some corrupt media file is getting scanned again and again. Delete photos, audio files and videos.

Hi friends,
I purchased YU Yureka last month, Im having serious heating issue on it. I tried with the options given by customer care such as 1."Mediaserver app" 2.Reducing the frequency of the CPU. The issue still exists, when I tried contacting Customer care they told me that its hardware issue but they do not speak anything about replacement. I don't know what to do. Unable to use the mobile while calling and unable to put it on pocket as it hurts my thigh. My friends calls my mobile as Ironbox. YU I request you to provide a solution and make me happy. INR.8999/- is not a small amount to me..

Hands on use for one month: Yu Yureka
A. Battery:
1. stamina:Poor, when compared to today's standard. with active GPS & internet 3G for maps alone its worse, lasts around 5-6 hrs. gaming still gives decent hours around 6-8.
2. charging: very slow ~5 hrs with 1.0A std charger provided. with 2.1Amp apple / sony charger its 2-3 hrs
B. Speaker: poor
1. media / ringtone is awful since its not audible with TV on. if we keep the speaker down towards the resting surface, its hardly audible. on cloth or sofa its worse. In jungle / desert it may sound better. selective ringtones are audible.
2. external jack does not give a headphone sign once plugged.
C. cannot move apps to SD card. only the apps which have selection for storing their media can be saved in the SD. alternatively there are rooting + tricks, which seems to be used by many.
D. does not allow a USB host / mass storage mode while plugged in to a PC. so it needs drivers to enable that mtp option. if the PC is not online or old without update then it wont be able to transfer. even on PC where USB can be plugged but drivers cant be installed without admin too have issue. Its like apple... it allows only one instance of copying though mtp.
E: CAMERA:
1. photo is decent with daylight. the color is not natural many times.
2. the video are good.
F:WiFi Direct:
There is no wifi direct option in the inbuilt OS/UI.
G:Pocket dial
prevention does not work properly
H: There are plenty of option the CM coders should adopt from MIUI ..... to make it one step ahead.
I: many options are missing when compared with MIUI. MIUI is far better UI to use when compared with CM.
With 8999INR. its better than many of the 820 & M4AQUA

Yureka Phone is too good, but its need to new Android Lollipop update because of some software problems in Yureka phone, so just i wanna to to only when will i get Yureka update, its too late now, I am not able to use wifi in my Yureka bcz of MAC address changing anytime, help me about this problem, also there is no any Yureka service center in New Delhi & Delhi NCR,

Something that simply works is not always assured to be the best solution for the problems it is trying to address. Battery life can always be improved further, usage experience and lag can be reduced, compatibility can always be improved and more importantly new ways of doing things open up new possibilities unlike what was possible in the past versions. Besides people paid good money to get those phones whatever those maybe, people have every right to demand updates and should accept nothing less.
It seems you are the type who should be rid of your fat wallet's contents very quickly since you don't care about value for money on what you spend, if you'll allow me I'll direct you to some charities and orphanages to help you make 'generous' donations.

I can't wait for this more I hav lots of problems in this YU whatever please try to repair it fast or I will return the phone back I hav called customer care 4 to 5 times but they r jus stuck on saying wait for the update

What makes me laugh is,everyone buys a phone regardless what make model or how much it costs then all of sudden are beggin for updates ! get a grip ppl.its a phone and nothing more.you bought it you paid for it now live with it,and stop worrying about bloody updates.if its not broken out of the box then dont fix it for christ sake ?
