May be an Z3 Neo due to the Snapdragon 810 issue. Sony may be waiting for a solution and reserving Z4 when 810 or 810 update is ready. LG also backtracked from 810 to 808 even though they were the first to contradict 810 heating issues.
Chances are there that they don't want a throttled down 810 on their flagship countering S6.( M9 with a throttled down 810 & LG with 808 ).

It's not the six month cycle. It's an update of z3. So, it looks like z4 will make us wait until september. That's not that bad =). Hope this z3 will be liked by us!!!

Sony needs to release a flagship in the times of other manufacturers , rather than waiting six months after them and release an enhanced flagship like HTC has done in the past..
and the development to these devices did not exist .
