LG G4 allegedly photographed, Snapdragon 808 inside

17 April, 2015
The photo is tightly cropped and dark, it's hard to tell if it's actually the LG G4 or not.

Am I the only one confused by this picture. While the bezel looks like it should belong to the G4 the lack of the LG logo that is present in all press shots should call into question the authenticity of the picture and therefore the specs included.

That said a better camera and display mean more to me than a CPU GPU benchmark. Plus the 808 must command a lower price tag. Coming from my beloved G2 I feel these alone are reason enough to upgrade

Is that not a downgrade from SD 805? For a flagship phone, you cannot have an inferior GPU (that too for QHD resolution) compared to competition and expect to sell well.

The snapdragon 808 is much lower than the 810. I hope that LG at least given a excellent camera, and that the G4 has a Great price, much lower than its competitors to be worth buying.

I hope that LG improve this chipset.Pois the 808 is well below the 810. I know that the 810 is having problems with heating. But even so, the 808 is nonetheless a lower chip. Well, anyway , I hope at least they compensate the camera and especially in prices. Since smartphones prices are very high lately.

I recognize LG's in a tough spot. The heat of the SD 810, the SD 820 isn't ready yet, can't go Exynos from a competitor, Kirin isn't good enough. I guess they could have gone with Mediatek. *shrug*

One of the posters below explained clearly why LG went with the 808 chip. I appreciate the explanation. I wondered why they would go with the 808 over the 805. I trust LG enough to know there is a sound reason why they went with the 808 over the 810 (overheating).
