memory is very less. only 10 gigs is available out of 16 gigs. that's not sufficient. without memory card or extra memory this phone can be only used to make calls and click some images.

Mi4i has 16gb internal memory which is i think more than sufficient moreover it supports otg so dont think about not supporting sd card

Xiaomi mi 4i a good budget smartpone with awosme features and lovely price .. the only big big drawback is ... unexpandable memory .. Which can be a reason of failng in india ... Plzz upgrade it with a memory card slot for a big hit ..!

That's the key area where most Indian focus. Out of 16GB internal only 12.5GB (Approx.) available for user. This is easily fulfill by Some HD Moveis,Songs and Audio Songs. Than what to do?

Xiaomi why u r wasiting your money... cant get u why u want to restrict user to 16GB memory...

nice. no sd card slot might be a bad thing. but good thing is phone might load faster.

Should have been with expandable memory or 64Gb version. Indian consumer prefer bigger memory or expandable slot.

OMG. This is exactly a copy of iPhone 5C (look and feel) + Galaxy S4 (technical spec).

It replicates S$ in almost every aspect, be it screen size, screen density, RAM, Camera. Only difference is it has double the cores than in S4 and the front camera is 5Mega pixel instead od 2 in S4
Remember that S4 could be upgraded with memory card but MI4i has no expandable memory option either.
To summarize this, Mi 4i is a Galaxy S4 with a cosmetic look and feel of iPhone5c. Having said that, the cost will be revolutionary, especially in the asian subcontinent.
