Anonymous, 24 Apr 2015im getting confused now... this is essentially a x86 intel ... moreAndroid can run under x86. App compatibility is a separate issue, but I expect as more and more of these phones surface, developers are likely to modify their apps to run on x86 as well.

What's the use of 4gigs of RAM when the CPU is mediocre and midrange at best.

A good phone with a great CPU? C'mon, this may be able to compete with Zenfone 2. I would like to clarify that the CPU used for K80 is a 1.8 Ghz CPU, not 1.2 Ghz.

Actually speaking there are no phones with 4gb RAM, there are only phablets(zenphone 2,k800, mi note pro all have display of 5.5" or above).
Waiting for phone(lesser than 5") with 4gb RAM.

im getting confused now... this is essentially a x86 intel pc, you should be able to run Linux or windows on this, and how exactly will it run android? I mean yes android does x86 but its apps are ARM, or is intel's x86 simply superior and can handle ARM instructions just like a normal ARM cpu?

whats even more interesting is if Microsoft starts using intel socs, they can use real w10 instead of wp, which might be a good thing for powerusers I guess, I wont trade that for precious battery life and shit-free phone OS but I know a lot of people that would

can this boot windows 8.1 desktop? It uses an atom x86 proc right? With 4gb ram it should be enough to run full desktop experience
