I say this because HTC granted some of thier patents to google when the nexus9 was made. Motorola was still a google company when this happened, this is also why the nexus 6 is a lot similar to HTC and LG. Moto took the best from each company and this is why you like Motorola so much.

So the render everyone thought was the m9 was the butterfly 3. As I suspected. I Can't wait for this phone.
Also if those past renders are true were getting a Butterfly3 and 3+.

Granted that the chipset of choice is the Snapdragon 810, if the device is water-resistant, we can dunk it into water to cool the casing.

It got a little useless when One E8 was introduced last year, because it is plastic too, but Butterfly has its own design, meanwhile E series copies the aluminium-made design.

whatever the fck htc does,motorola is way better in making policy,we all know how motorola was going through financal crunch,and they finally recovered,htc is doing just opposite.no good s/w support,overpriced phones,and 4-5 flagship a year{m9,m9+,e9,butterfly3}. love my moto x2014,goodfor my needs,only con is camera,good and trusty camera sensor with terrible image processing.hope it improve in 5.1 update.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't give a damn about HTC but is the Butterfly a class above the One? Kind of like how the Note is about the S series but isn't as popular and mainstream

Please, i regret the day I brought a htc butterfly! USB doesn't work, headphones doesn't work, no new updates. I really wish i had brought an iPhone or nexus
