kar, 12 May 2015Of course, HTC will step down from price but not compromise... moreWhy in the world !!! Why, vJFn don't suggest HTC to make a midranger considering your recommendations. They will aquire no. 1position in INDIAN SMARTPHONE ARENE....THEY DONT WANT To address INDIAN customer's demands..instead of, they will be making cheper plastic heaters with no crafted menu on the card.... If you would know...

Of course, HTC will step down from price but not compromise with quality. The price range between 13k- 15k it's really enough to make HTC standard and India market desire. So many Chinese vendor using Snapdragon chipset with affordable price. Other vendor sale 13 to 15 k with good spec but same spec in htc will cost around 20-23k. Here I have mentioned some sample spec For HTC this purely for Indian market standard

    Mobile Size: 4.7 to 5.1
    Screen Resolution: FULL HD
    PPP density : 350 to 401
    Battery : 2600 to 2900
    RAM and Storage : 2GB/3GB & 16/32
    Processor : Qualcomm Quad 2GHz/Qualcomm 615 1.7 octacore
Rest other htc feature : Boom sound with Dolby audio/ 13mp Primary/8Mp Secondary all other things in htc

No compromise in quality price should be in 15k.

They should price it at 30,000 Rs. HTC should not make cheap phones. If they make phones cheap their brand will get cheaper.

Aman, 28 Apr 2015they will not be successful like xiaomi or any mid range co... moreBecause all their handsets in that pricerange are stupid compaired to others and if they will offer good specs. It won't just be as good as others.

Just look at HTC Desire 610 or 510.
Midrangers are always expensive just like Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo is just the only one under the €200 with a startprice of €220 which excurely was good

There is no way HTC will make a mid range device which is in the price range of Xiaomi, Huawei, Lenovo, OPO, Asus or Moto. They are generally in the price range of Sony, Samsung, LG, Oppo etc

HTC should think twice before deciding the price segment for midrange handsets... In INDIA the price segment for Mid range handsets lies between Rs 10000 to Rs 15,000/- respectively and not between 15 to 20k Rs.. So if they can give a trademark HTC quality product with good spec sheet instead of low quality plastic smartphones they can surely rule the Mighty Indian Market that's what the Chinese companies currently concentrating.
