That is possible, But don't you think Motorola (or google) would run a diagnostic to find out what happened. 4. Look on the internet, There are hundreds of pictures like this.

I don't believe Motorola made this phone. Exploding batteries, screen burn in, falling off back covers and what more? Nexus 5 was the best nexus phone, and now they've stopped selling it. The next nexus is gonna be huawei, so I have no expectations. Was Motorola using cheap Chinese batteries for nexus 6?

Fake fake he puts it in the magnetron or forget it in its car with the hot sun on it or something like that and put it online as an faillure . I cant believe that I own one for 4 months now with no problems whatsoever in fact its the best phone I ever had because of its pure android experience .
I think he is just masking his own stupidity for ruining it by blaming the phone instead creating an anti nexus hype and there are always people specially the one who cannot afford these good phones who negativly picking up on it.

Karma coming back to these android devices. Such as the edge being as bendable as the iPhone 6 and now battery exploding for the nexus 6. Already a failure for lack of interest , this will make things worst.

The phones with this problem were probably left out in the sun or next to the stove, or allowed to get wet. Did you check out the conditions of the failures or do you just dislike Nexus and Motorola?

All devices have some issues. Can you report on frequency, and on whether these incidents are actual failures or due to abuse or intentional damage? I have not seen a report on Samsung using standard Li Ion batteries in the sealed S6 although it is known that LiPo batteries are more suitable for such use, in long term battery life and for safety, although it has been reported that Li Po batteries will be used in the Note 5 for these reasons. Please report the facts and not just anecdotes.

The Nexus 6 is a phone developed by Motorola Mobility, so leave android or Samsung alone... And you really aren`t going to fear just a little about happening the same trouble? I don`t even know what would be worst : to have it in your pocket or left at home ?

No problem with my Nexus 6 64 GB, phone is smooth as butter, can't beat pure Android experience, I also own the Note 4, and the Nexus 6 beats it user experience, both phones have the same specs, but the Nexus 6 is so much smoother, makes the Note 4 look like a geriatric person.
And no issues with the battery in my Nexus 6.also no one knows the REAL story and why that phone's battery blew up, it most likely was a defective battery, and that can happen with any phone. To me it looks like an isolated incident.

In my opinion this is absolutely disgraceful. No wonder why this model is not popular.
@Same old
Yes. No technology isn't perfect. But the fact that no Nexus device had no such problems so far remains. So answer to your question "Do you stop driving cars because they sometimes break down?" is:
Of course I'll not stop driving car because some issue. However I will certainly change manufacturer/model which gives more confidence. Nexus 6 definitely does not fall into such devices.
