Did the update in February and phone froze, took 15 mins of pressing all the buttons to get it back on. Will not be doing another update. O2 have said phone can last up to a year without doing the update but will just be a little slow.

Same as all others. Phone was fine until nougat upgrade... now crazy battery drain and crashes 10x or more everyday. Even backed up and wiped phone. No help. Same issues.

I recently got a pristine refurbished Samsung s6 and tried updating the software when notified. The phone completely froze and I could do nothing with it. Thankfully I got a refund and i bought another. I have again got a notification of a software update but wary about downloading this in case it happens again.....advice please?

I updated my software on my Samsung s6 edge plus, and my battery is draining :( Iv had my phone for 2 years now and haven't had any problems. Any new updates to fix this problem on the horizon?

Last 2017 i switch to android.. just because my MF apple device has been updated into its latest version.. little as we know this is a trap to upgrade ur phone to its latest flagship and they admit it.. and now Android is doing the same thing .. 😏

Ever since I've been following comments on this page about Samsung galaxy s6 updates, i get only negative reviews but actually have never had a single problem updating my s6 edge. Pls guys, try to be serious and stoo putting false blames on samsung. If u have soft bricked your phone, leave samsung out of it.

Have the Galaxy S6 32G and installed the update on Tuesday night. I now have no notification panel drop down, can't save or install wallpaper, no auto-rotate, volume buttons don't work, can't see who's calling me, no notifications whatsoever for voicemail, texts, emails, etc., nor have any idea how much battery life is left. I can use the phone, call, text, surf but no drop down bar and have to manually go into apps or settings to access anything and my battery dies much quicker. Thank you Samsung, Google, and whoever else is involved! Fix the update!!! Doing the same crap to us what Apple did to their customers. Waiting to back-up everything before I do a total factory reset. Soft-reset does nothing. BS!!!!

I have Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 32MB Android 7.0,
After yesterday update i can't start phone.
1. before update battery was 100%
2. downloaded and installed update 100%
4. but after automatic restart phone have not start system... NOT WORK !!!!
Don't install new update!

Since system update on January 26 2018, my Samsung Galaxy S6 will not connect to anything other than XFinity WIFI. It won't connect to work, home other other secured WIFI places. All of my other devices are connected to my home WIFI with no issues. Please help!

make an experiment,
1) turn off the internet and wifi,
2) Charge the batteries to 100%
3) use the phone without the Internet or WIFI turnd on
4) the phone will operate for at least 36 hours
5) as soon as you turn on the Internet, the phone will go crazy
nothing will help, CPU and GPU drains the batteries
the only thing that can help is the return to Android Marshmallow
SAMSUNG knows about the problem, but decided to hide it.
Korea is the largest cryptocurrency market,
Oreo is free of this problem but GALAXY S6 will not get it
P.S if you enable the Internet after removing the power plug,
phone starts draining the battery automatically, you can stop it only by inserting the plug back and charg up to 100%

Hi Guys,
I just updated my phone (S6 edge) and saidly I didn't read the reviews before 😣.
Now my buttery is draining as hell and my phone wont connect to wifi.
Samsung fix this!!
If you pay £800 for something you expecting it will work more than 2 years.

Notifications stopped working. All my notifications are on through my phone settings. Pretty annoying that I constantly have to check my emails, messenger, fb, Instagram to see if I have a notification. Anyone else having this problem.
