I am having the same issues as the last user describes. Loosing about a half% of battery every minute and all apps are closed and screen is off. Phone is hot and freezes. This is ridiculous!

I am experiencing the same issues since the update last night, I am running s6 Edge+ and my phone runs hot, freezes, battery is at 30% left on 2 hours on battery WITHOUT usage.

puffle, 28 Sep 2016since updating the softwere my fast charger has stopped wor... moretry go to setting - battery - scroll to the last.. there is fast charging menu. if its turn on, then turn it off first then turn it back on.

Since the update I had to charge my phone 3x in one day. I was not using it anymore than I did before the update where the charge would last all day. Also, my phone has been getting extremely hot. Like another user, I had to remove my cover and place my phone on objects that will not spread fire quickly. I was a Samsung fan but they are losing me quickly. I am finding they are giving me anything to debate against Apple users. Get your act together Samsung. Roll back this update. I cannot play my VR because I get the heat warning. If I cannot use your products then why am I using your product. I may need to go to LG or consider Apple. My S6 edge does not have a memory card or replaceable battery. Note7 was a disaster. After 3 Samsung phones I may have to leave the company's phone line.

Verizon has replaced my phone 3 times. It is a problem with the recent software update causing the phone to overheat and seize. When is the next update?

Having problems with messaging. It freezes when I am typing and message takes forever to send. Very annoying, I don't know what to do.

same issues here. after AT&T had me update to 6.0.1 Marshmallow, CPU runs hot and battery drains quickly, even while phone is sleeping.
blah. any REAL ideas about fixes?

Battery empties 10% every hour with no use at all; cant make it through the working day. Fix!

No auto correct on any typing. And i cant sign into wondering wifi connections. This update sucks.

However, my phone is getting extremely hot even when I am not using it. I have turned off lots of background processes, cleared cache, rebooted the phone and it is still having issues.
I am not installing this last update that came up yesterday for the first time. The last one ruined my phone. I can't wait for my contract to end and going back to Apple.

I even deleted all text messages thinking it was just full. Phone is trying to do another update now but concerned it will make it worse than it already is. Batter life is awful also.

That's all I needed to know. All of previous updates haven't improved performance whatsoever, in fact, they've digressed.
