[deleted post]Well Sony ERicsson do deliver in time. Problem is that they ANNOUNCE several months before instead of in combination with the launch. I guess that is to create a hype. Like this one...

Love Rachael eventhough i havent seen it properly yet! :)
Now friends of mine that aren't even that interested in cell phones are starting to talk about this phone. I'd say it will make some impact among consumers. Not only by the geeks like you reading this article written by a geek like me.... )
See one problem though, none of my accessories can be used. and I just bought the mp707 headset that automatically starts your music when you plug in the ear buds. darn...

Their designs are always better, they look good in hands and in pictures, they feels good as well. Originality matters and it is something not easy to achieve. They had problems and its clear that they are coming out of it they are working to get out of it and they are as serious to bring quality sets like they were just couple of years back.

ononymonus, u right it can go either way, but i'm just hoping that u r not flaming Xperia X10 just cause u prefer HD2. Cause that HD2 is just another failure attempt from HTC to rip poeple's money - they put no effort into their products!!! i can even go on writing the whole article describing it's shortages, but don't have the time to.
SE on another hand, FULL of surprises - new software, new hardware, their first Android device (i think), uh , who knows what to expect we'll see?!....

NO VIDEO CAMERA --- Failed !
So for 800 ++ euros plus the lack of front camera this is not a phone for sure..
So this is a PDA...
but wait....
-NO OLED (the youtube brochure is FAKE ! ) so for a 4.1 screen this will be a battery killer (even the 1500mAh one ) !!
-256MB Ram ?? Even n900 has 512MB ... a much cheaper pda-phone
-36GB internal... this is gonna be fake just like the brochure on youtube...
So it's not worth even for the PDA category...
You say there is no flash and camera cover... so don't put a camera ether to save more space... common ! make a smaller screen (3.5) and put the damn flash...
Android does not support video calls.... so DO NOT USE IT UNTIL IT DOES ~~ Simple as that
And finally don't forget the SDS (Sonyericsson delay strategy..) 100% sute ton available till q2 and be then >>> new iphone, new nokia touch, new htc etc.... as ALWAYS !!

The last good phone from Nokia was the N95 announced September 2006, since that time Nokia is death...has been kill by Apple, HTC, SE, and Samsung! Good bye Nokia it's now over for you and your symbian OS! Time to move on!
