I ve used Otterbox Defender on SGS4 and it was awful. There is no quality at all. Then I purchased the UAG case. Now I have SGS6 and second UAG case. Slim, really good quailty and survives any drop tests.

If you jjust want a pretty phone or a water resistant one there are other choices. That's not what it is. Why do all of you whine so much lol

This will be great for consumers that need a rugged phone but also want the high-end specs that come with the Samsung Galaxy series. I understand its not the most beautiful device especially since it's based off the S6 design but that's not the point of this model.
The only issue I have with Samsung is this...why couldn't they put the same battery in the S6 or S6 Edge also? That would make the sting of not having a micro SD a lot less but I guess you always have a trade off in somewhere.
This will be a very good device I hope, thanks Samsung.

I always thought that samsung make good ruggedized phones, a very well balance in design and specs. Great option for the people that look for a more robust phone. And with top of the line specs. A lot of rugged phones havever poor specs.

I'd rather have this than the brittle and delicate glass/aluminum versions. Plus the battery is much bigger. Looks will only last until the first few drops.
