Consistent UI across all devices, optimized specifically for Snapdragon processors to keep OS much more stable (no freezes) and smooth than Android, and secure (no antivirus app needed).

Seriously, who makes the final design decisions for these phone manufacturers, a team of monkeys? Why on earth would you pair a SD 410 SoC and 8MP camera with 8GB of storage and an FWVGA display? I guarantee the manufacturing cost would have been the same (or less) had they opted for the SD 400 and 5MP camera, but bumped the display to 720P and the storage to 16GB.
Higher internal storage is far more important than a (pointless) 64-bit SoC, and who cares about a small bump in camera resolution when your photos will look like absolute sh$t on your 480x854 display?

Or there is other agreements regarding other LG products that are financially beneficial to LG. One can only guess.
