AnonD-404331, 08 Jun 2015I will never understand why they chose to make a foot long ... moreThere are components down there that take up space. Speaker, camera. So the bezel on that end can only get so small. Also, when you hold the phone sideways to watch a video you have a place to put your thumb without covering the screen. It looks weird, but serves a purpose.

I will never understand why they chose to make a foot long bottom bezel, and then completely temove the top bezel..

I would imagine, the purpose of removig or slimming down top and bottlm bezels, would be to drastically improve reachability and comfort of one handed use..

A thick botto. bezel completely destroys the opportunity for such a thing.

I would absolutely love to see a 5.2" screen inside of a 5.4" dimension, with focus on slimming the bottom bezel as much as possible.

I would 100% be ok with removing the front camera if it has to be done.

Android has NAV buttons baked into the OS, so this just logically has to happen!!!

Hmm, according to the Japanese source, the CPU is a 1.2Ghz quad core. That seems pretty low spec these days.

Cenas, 20 May 2015Saphire is actually more brittle than glass, tdropping a sa... more"Sapphire" as it's used for screens and watch "crystals" is man made and if I recall correctly is second in hardness to diamond. Is much more resistant to breakage than glass by any name I am aware of. The entire reason for using the sapphire material is durability (against scratches and fractures). It is a big plus for devices that will be subjected to rough handling.

I for one have destroyed many "mineral" crystals (glass) on watches with scratches or breakage, but not a single sapphire crystal. I have yet to damage a phone screen, and I am not sure sapphire display would be a big deal to me, but I am willing to bet many would think it's a major plus!

Cenas, 20 May 2015Saphire is actually more brittle than glass, tdropping a sa... moreNo, sapphire is more brittle than chemically treated glass. Only a little bit more so. Heck, glass is more brittle than paper, but I swear to you that no one would claim the paper screen would be stronger...

More brittle doesn't necessarily mean easier to break.

Bezeless in phones actually has a very important functionality , one handed use and pocketability. You can use sapphire screen, then ypu won't fear drops and -also- palm rejection, then you won't fear accidental touches. Bezeless phones ought to be the future.

Frameless phone totally useless. It make feel more unsafe if I'll drop it .

This is not an OLED/LED TV that seat on a TV console or hanging on a wall which you won't carrying it outside for outdoor usage.

As a phone that we use it anywhere, anytime and chances of dropping it our self or accidentally drop when someone accidentally run into you.

So this is what you get when you make a bezel-less phone, a fatty wirh a big chin. I'd rather have some bezels for grip and a thinner phone than this

11mm and battery ONLY 2000mah, why so THIN??? :d max must be 9mm, 7-8.5mm normal, good

Anonymous, 19 May 2015Oh no, no portrait orientation on the front cam. Hold your ... moreTo hell with front cams, anyway, if it is a real estate battle with bezels, mics, and speakers. But be reminded it is a front camera. Whether manufacturers place a front cam on the sides, corner, top, or bottom, users should still be able to adjust accordingly and more conveniently, as opposed to rear cams, when snapping selfies (Hint: pretty sure front cams are located where the display is).

Job interviews? Who normally does interviews while walking, traveling, moving, or 'on-the-go'? Perhaps an exemption to celebrities can be considered when paparazzi interviews are taking place. Even celebrities do not normally have formal interviews while on the move. Should not formal interviews, including job interviews, come down to preparation? Regardless of the location of the camera (front or rear) to be used on a phone is, I am pretty sure at least one (Tip: I would) would suggest you to set your phone properly and as steady as possible when doing an interview. Of course, if job seekers want to increase their chances of getting hired, they would not want the human resource, employer, or interviewer to get distracted nor irritated by moving objects on the background.

Allow me to pour in a simple analogy and basic logic to this: the front camera on this phone nevertheless conforms to a camera being positioned on the front of the device. Albeit its position could be justifiable, valid, coherent, or relevant for being found in front; however, it might also not be all that rational, reasonable, sound, nor sensible
