I heard it has a model that comes without music. Bless nokia! I am having a horrible experience with CMW. I had to format my pc because of their own Ovi Player full of bugs and only doing so I discovered that I have to wait 90 days to be able to listen my ~1300 musics in my pc because my pc was already registered. I won't pay for something that keeps my PC hostage. Even Microsoft leaves us to activate Windows as much as we like in the same PC. So, to have CWM I have to have a dedicate PC? Huh! Please! As for the phone, I liked it! It will be a good replacement for my NK5800 when it get a little less expensive.

Connie, 06 Nov 2009Only LG and Samsung can still compete with Nokia. But Nokia... moreSo when Motorola released its E2 with 3.5mm jack, where was the the almighty brand in terms of "3.5mm technology"?

Fil, 07 Nov 2009Nokia still leads the market in non-touch phone category. I... moreSo who told the almighty brand REFUSED to release any (3G) touchscreen handset before the iphone days? Don't tell me it didn't have the technology.

Now the company is (way) behind in the touchscreen market...by trying to release a dozen models within a year...without much success, and it certainly deserves the consequences.

scare the competitio, 08 Nov 2009its seems that many bloggers her are from nokia competition... moreOf course, there are more non-almighty brand users here. Of course die-hard almighty brand's fans would pay US$6xx/7xx/8xx or whatever the almighty brand charges, as long as the name "almighty brand" is written on the phone.

If the same "bundle" is being release by any other brand, fans of the almighty brand would come out and yell "sucks"....

So how much is the phone really cost? How much "extra" goes to the unlimited music download? Do people really download music that much in a year?

With this thing you can't compete against Android.

Let see, I never used Nokia’s handset. I was inspired by the ads earlier on N series days but well it is another story.

Today the scenario is completely change in term of mobile phones whether it is low-end phones or high-end. The designs, the UI and the technology took a sharp turn after being under testing periods. This is the whole new world to explore not only for the user but to the manufacturers as well.

Companies who just jumped into this world, specially toward high-end handsets are and will get a good hold because they don’t have a background history support where other companies including Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

Sound background is good but it could slow a company down going toward something new, an example is of a seasonal traditional photographer, who will take ages just to accept the digital photography and will take longer to adopt it. But yes once he will hold on to the technology, his wide experience will jump him forward like no one else.

Nokia (and few other companies) had been very successful with their traditional ways so coming out of their winning shoes is not easy. Embracing the changes and work on to it specially to carry on their history of success at same time is a pressure which is giving them hard time but they are on their way and they will get up and get going like before.

About X series, I personally hated Nokia for doing it since Sony Ericsson was getting pretty good with it, specially calling out the name which was already assigned to a model although not officially but well.

So, I think Nokia will going to get some rough bumps before getting back on the right track and hope it will give everyone good and fair competition.

Too costly I prefer for a 100 euros less roughly to sony ericcson Satio which is a true phone with 12 mp cam. I am going to buy that one for sure shortly.

Great phone, I had it for testing.
32GB internal memory and focus on FLATRATE MUSIC, fantastic. If you just buy 5 CDS a month, the CWM package has paid back the phone in 12 months. PLUS A TRUE COOL TOUCH PHONE !
