this phone is good but for big battery lover Gretel GT6000 is Best. GT6000 come with 6000mAh battery, 5.5-inch HD IPS display and with rear facing cameras. i use this phone and this is a amazing phone in best price.

I would like to inform you that not to purchase elephone at all this phone performance are very bad. I have purchased elephoneP8000 6 months back the phone not getting charge 100% at all and not keeping charge more than half an hour also screen bulged out and battery bulged also overheating while using.

Bought this phone to use in Canada in Nov 2016. Some companies wouldn't support it... found FIDO (in Ontario) had a mico sim card that worked. Reception is not so great in cement buildings (schools), where my old Samsung and Virgin contract worked perfectly.
Can't figure out how to get windows 10 or a mac OS X Version 10.9.5 to recognize it though. Sometimes the mac will recognize it and upload photos to iPhoto... but not consistent.
So, it's getting full of video and pictures, that I can't put download onto another device.
Standard cases from Amazon don't seem to match where the fingerprint sensor is.

Hmmmm 1000's of people are saying chineese phones are crap...Not having ever wanted to be a brand pratt, i always thought a phone was a phone, it was to make call's only..But hey! its the modern world right?
Ok! as an older geek i find it incredibly naive of people wanting the best named brands just for show....The P8000 does up to and more than the normal branded crap, the camera's are great, its full HD, its battery is never ending(last's me days), its Android 6 marshmellow(flashed from rom) as it came with 5.1 originally, but Elephone had early issues with the previous operating system..I paid £95 brand new boxed as it was sold with android 5.1(updated rom in less than 5 minutes), now had the phone for just over 6 months...Runs like a dream, its fast and last's ages, takes great pics and video's(could be better in lower light but that could be me), plays great games too as well as many other features, its done me very well, and i will buy a future flagship model from Elephone.
Who would buy a branded after this....NOT me.

I've bought this phone and got it recently (about 15 days ago) and honestly I can say that way too much comments over here have nothing to do with this phone. Overheating for example. It works just fine, has Marshmallow (Android 6.0), doesn't overheat, no dust or any other stuff on it's screen, came in oversized box with quick charger (5V, 2A) and with screen protection on the screen and another one inside the box. The only thing I'm not satisfied with are over-colored pictures. Can be set to low in options, but has to be picked each time you start the camera. Videos look perfect tho.

Bought 8000 elephone Dec.2015,took to spain 3 months, the 2 sim slots with Asda sims had problem with sim one, it eventualy stoped working on sim one slot also it was overheatng,tried to send back but no responce,even contacted E-bay no help their!!!
Took to repairers, they told me the phone is rubbish and they see elephones all the time and would not attempt to lookat it!! As it was rubbish,wish I could get refund but don't know where to send itor whom to contact.Regards ,

As the price concerned, P8000 with MTK6753 chip, 3GB+16GB storage and Android 5.1 is a good option. Oukitel k6000 pro with 6000mAh and Android Marshmallow is also a good budget phone with $149.99.What do you think?

Never again Elephone! Bought a new P8000, right out of the box didn't recognize sim, after a simple OTA update it bricked, all by itself! I should have smashed it in UMI's contest to win an Iron Pro instead of dealing with their non exhistant after sale service... Shame on them, wasted money!
