Lollipop update for zenfone, battery issue fixed,new graphic driver, better camera quality, ram issues and ASUS promised for a smooth user experience, and so many else, i thonk ASUS develop lollipop for zenfone line-up with best because must be perfectly for zenfone 4,5,6 so, it's okay for the delay because after one year of using ASUS zenfone 6 i never facing issues on my phone everything is good and best value for money phone i've ever used :D

well.. all we can do now is to wait.. lets hope lollipop update will roll out soon and no more delays?.. even its late. Its better than nothing. see other big manufacturer left their phones with old OS..

Lollipop is a big issue for every major manufacturer.This version of Android is bad, sluggish and performance hog.KK was way developer -friendly.

Asus just play game with ours!they don't take serious for lollipop, there only focusing on new zenfone 2,they already done 4 update but not zenfone 5,now I decided to laid Asus because the company is too lazy........

Not a snapdragon 800. Its Intel Atom z2580 ... moreOriginal Padfone Infinity powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 inside then Asus upgraded it with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 in New Padfone Infinity.
Asus also should upgrade Fonepad Note 6 to 5.x.x Lollipop as it has Intel Atom Z2580 inside (like Zenfone 5 & 6), so both Padfone Infinity & Fonepad Note 6 is more than enough power to drive latest Android OS!
Remember, Sony still support XPERIA Z/ZL/ZR which is around 2 years old now & powered by older Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC..

ajax, 21 May 2015because they are selling zenfone 2 and if they upgarde zen... morethis make people feel doubtful to buy asus phone because getting late update... if they give fast update to all their zenfone , people more confident about their product and people always want the latest device , and zenfone 2 spec is better and not that expensive... people will buy it

What I hate about all zenfone including zenfone2 is the ugly design with painted old type cap and home keys (not sure if its acklit) and the siver colored bottom bezel instead of same colored bezels on the top and bottom The silver coloured volume keys on the back and so.

i do hope that when Asus pushes through with the Lollipop upgrade... they'll get to also include Zenfone C
