Your honestly trying to tell me that you seriously need to have that...take the extra half a second to press the unlock buttons and im pretty sure your issues are solved. This has got to be one of the most ridiculous things i have ever seen...and then what...charge an extra 80-100 bucks for the phone cause of this snappable unlocking wasted thing? ya drop that.

well this is pretty useless... i think the current technologie is working just fine and has been for the past years
and second, most of the handsets will be (un)lockable by pushing 1 button so why pull out a thing like that hook
and what if it breaks? getting your phone repaired several times a year seems a little stupid to me
waste your energie on something else instead of innovating retard stuff

to lock/unlock keypad. rather suggest a key, just like we found on left/right side of touchscreen phone.
and for mic, you can use a anttena type mic that bends like we have on headsets. movable to any direction. and it resides in phone at stylus place.
like we pullout the mic as we want and make it straight and pull it back in a phone.

Not really that innovative, Phillips had a similar extendable mic on the Spark back in the late 90's, did provide for a nice compact handset though.

such ideas are encouraged bur honestly this is lame..come on u could easily break the hook..i dont think phone manufacturers should approve this otherwise im sure it would have quite an effect on demand for sure..

Getting rid of two button 'syndrome' for locking keypad is a good idea. But doing so with a fragile and breakable hook is no good idea. For locking/unlocking, a sliding button at the right side of the phone set would do real good.

look at the Sony Ericsson W 350i flip pad. Does the same thing more elegantly, I think.
