Nokia giving away 100 000 pedestrian navigation licences

06 November, 2009
What a lovely end of the business week: we’ve just found out that Nokia are giving away 100 000 pedestrian navigation licenses. And what is even better, they are all free and valid for use in the whole...

As someone else has pointed out we have 3 retards on the board yet again. Why doesn't the GSM Moderators take these pathetic I'm 1st, 2nd & 3rd remarks off & stop the ability to post Anonymously?

So to the three retards, If all you can do is that sort of childish & pathetic scrawl, why not look up & go to a kiddies forum & stop spoiling a site which is here for informational purposes!

Anyway B2T,nice idea Nokia, but why not offer it elsewhere, not just Germany, not exactly fair is it?

Maybe in the future it should be put into a draw & 100,000 people can have the licence.

A couple of months ago, I bought a 1-year drive & walk license for Nokia Maps 2.0. I upgraded to Maps 3.0 last week and found out that my 1-year license was not compatible with Maps 3.0. i was told that to activate turn by turn navigation I'd have to pay for another license. Even worse, you cannot downgrade to Maps 2.0 after you install Maps 3.0. I'm highly disappointed with Nokia.

NOKIA should ante up!...as most nokia phones have GPS built in , tbey ought to give them out for FREE...that's why users like us go for NOKIA anyway...sheesh!xD

Ouch, that was like an April Fools joke gsmarena. Nokia needs to first drop the price of their phones, for the prices of their phones, most of the software should come free with them. Then Secondly, they should release free Navigation software. The Droid is killing the competition right now.

What a weak attempt at fighting against Google's free upcoming navigation system.

Deep space bar, 06 Nov 2009Your too demanding ,your like a chick man N900 is fine how... moreAt last something i agree with,,,what are you doing with 12MP working in the poster industry??? Ram ,,better written sofyware,,easier interfaces and decent battery life are more important...The best fotos have come of the se k750/w900i and nokia n82/n85..I would rather have a fantastic 2mp cam with decent macro for buisness cards ,,snappy interface and solid battery than 12 stupiMP..

nokia maps (ove maps) has a feature that helps muslims... its called "point to"(something like that) it helps to point and show where kabba is.
