So far iPhone's camera is the best I have used - simple, user friendly and takes superior pics (I don't compare with android's 20, 16 mp cameras - they have higher mp but quality is horrible as per their mp). So probably 12 mp on iPhone will take phone photography to another level.
In the mean time Android phones can come up with 30-40 mps so that idiot - specs-lovers can fight all over the web.

Without these other companies there would be no iPhone.
