On the camera, I do not know what you read, but I guess half of that web space reviews on the contrary acclaims xperia Z series camera as top, and my z1c one is actually above all my expectations...

However you have to be prepared for people to have different opinions to yours, a concept you seem to struggle with.
Are you kidding me?? The camera on the 'Z' series has been repeatedly derided from one end of the media to the other, many competent reviewers have found numerous flaws with it.
I myself was more than disappointed by it when I owned a Z3 Compact.

As much as frustration comment goes I was reffering to bashers that bash unfactualy with sd810 fire heat comments, cracking screen comments and crap camera comments that dont stand scrutiny in real facts....
If you didnt or do not intend to bash or troll, I dont see the need for you to react to my comment...

I think Sony is really serious in going out of the mobile industry very soon by dressing up the same thing using another wardrobe embellished with extra accessories. Funny how this phone will perform in the market. My prediction is Sony will be out of the business of selling mobile phone in two years unless they pick their brains up and hold it firmly.

Forget what the idiots claim, this is one tough phone. Anyone looking for a new phone I would recommend the Z3+ highly and while you're at it treat yourself to the proprietary Sony noise cancelling ear buds (mdr-nc31) that work awesome with these phones!

This is a superb d... moreYour opinion being the one that is right is just your opinion, and as such is no more valid than anyone else's.
However when you say the Z3+ is a superb device by any merit I must disagree, one area it may fall short is the camera, by all accounts it is using the same 20.7mp camera as previous generations of the Z series (IMX220). A camera setup has disappointed and underperformed quite badly in the past.
Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to diss the Z3+ unnecessarily, I just believe this this is a minor update at best to the Z3 and as such will not cut it in 2015. This is unfortunate for Sony as their mobile division is not in the best shape at the moment.
The point I was attempting to make is that you believe any negative comments to be coming from some kind of emotional instability is ridiculous, quite what anyone has to feel frustrated or insecure about regarding this device is I suppose for you to tell?? (maybe people could be frustrated that the Z3+ is somewhat of a disappointment....as they were hoping for something better perhaps?? I could go along with that.)

Comment about frustration and insecurity is also my opinion, coming from the fact that all top manufacturer 2015 flags seem to be suffering from underwhelming results and much user complaints...

Because those opinions may differ from yours you suggest that they are based on frustration and insecurity??...maybe it is you who is exhibiting a bit of both??
The Z3+ is an underwhelming upgrade to say the least. HTC are currently suffering the consequences of delivering only 'minor' improvements to existing platforms, and I think Sony can expect the same with this device.

There is really not too much difference between the two: 810 heats 5 degrees more, but has better graphic performance and integrated modem for faster browsing to make up for it...

rapid, 27 May 2015Does this mean there will be a new z4 coming out soon? Or i... moreThis is the Z4. I think there were leaks a few weeks ago suggesting Sony were developing a new flagship handset for the western markets that begun a new naming convention (i.e is not based on the 'Z' platform).
Hopefully this turns out to be true as this Z3+ is a bit underwhelming.

the glass is going to crack out of nowhere as like the previous ones, or if you drop it 2 inches? why didn't they use like all the others some gorilla glass. for me sony was linked to quality and reliability, now is associated with glass...sorry sony you lost me.

This is just a smal upgrade but if the price is right it might be a decen phone for the ones who uprgades from the z1 era. But for me z5 is the one to wait for.z3? is just a teaser
