good job from LG G5 and Samsung S7...
The new smartphones have GPS, fingerprint and now iris scanner...
It is very smart way to introduce all these technologies and to be able to know where we are AT ALL TIMES and what we do. Big brother will be able to see you 24/7

What will be the usage of the iris recognition then. It is a new technology and hence won't be so reliable. Nevertheless, I admire LG for conducting such a cutting edge research.

recognition uses NIR, probably with an LED source. low light conditions probably won't matter match.

poop, 28 May 2015how can use unlock your phone then when it's darkWith your fingers, the traditional way. I'm sure the screen will be bright enough too to emit enough light to let it scan your iris
