This is the coolest application if you have like minded friends.
It is also helpful at times.
For e.g. recently my friend lost his phone when we were on vacation in Goa but since he had google maps app. running in the background, i could locate his phone for him!!
So long as Google does not begin charging for its applications offered, I am a google fan for sure!!

Okay, Google. Nice try but no. Between Twitter, texts, etc, we know where our friends are. Sure I might be alerted when I had no idea one was nearby, but is it really that serious?

I can't believe noone is worried about the hazard of this information being hacked... If your government officials came on the news and said that they will use your phone to track your every move, riots would have broken out in the streets. Offered as a free service, everyone wants a piece of it.:)
